Dear forum members ,just wanted to organize my scattered work on the SPM forum. I have hyperlinked the daily musings and just hope that the links work. Looking back at some bits that I enjoyed inthe show, here are just a few. For starters, have to say the title theme song captured my interest right away and the lyrics along with the melody stayed with me till the very end. The backdrop of two faiths emerged rather beautifully, and for me, despite some differences portrayed between the faiths it was the harmony of communities living together, side by side which I felt were well promoted in the show. I recall, joint families gelling together, despite generation gaps and traditions. Family continuity seen in characters like Mainjaan were seen as a bonus for families that are blessed with elders.Characterizations too left lasting impressions with me, alongside the actors who portrayed the roles. Helly ended up with an award for her portrayal of Kainat Shah Ghazi. Yes she was admirable in her portrayal of the twins Kainat and Saltanat. VJ as Madhav Sharma was memorable . Incidentally this was my very first watch of tracing the fine acting prowess of both Helly and VJ.
