Anyways good that RP told Ani everything that J has been through, at least now Ani will handle that loser baap.

Jhnak could have agreed thinking Arshi would be reasonable. Ani told her what a lovely person she is and she would understand did he not?

If she didnt care about her life, what was the point in asking him for the marriage, to escape, she could have taken bold decision of surrendering to Tejas and there by saving both the villagers and Anirudh life. Suicide came much later in BH.

thats because Ani told her he wanted to go home and explian to Arshi f2f. she did ask Ani to drop her off at the check point an save his life...she did not look out for her life only.

What is the point in dropping at checkpoint after getting that marriage done. If he could risk his life with marriage then dropping her to die was such a joke. The way he went to search for along with Rahul would he just drop her in that danger. That is again being selfish and a kind emotional conversation as she knew he wont do that . Decision she should have taken before infront the villagers .

She is an adult. Ani does not own her. He cannot be responsible for her actions. Her choice was to be with Tejas over constant humiliaition at BH. its her decision to make esp after her moms death due to humiliation. He could have set her up in an hostel in kolkatta - there was no need to emotionally blackmail her to be at BH house

Of course, she is an adult. Nobody owns her. Just because someone says I would die or rather go to a womaniser its my right ,its my life since I cant take humiliation the person standing opposite cant agree, siting its your life you an chose to die. That is not humanity at all. Yes I would also have to use humanity.

Hostel was a good choice to keep her safe. Agree…I will try to explain from my view why Ani carries a greater part of the burden

The situations you have pointed out when Jhanak did things contrarian to stated positions are the inconsistencies her heart in love makes her do or say; it may look like she is placing herself higher in the moral saddle but in this conflict one of the two only gets to be in that position, if both do… there is no longer need for pretence. They might as well elope and run into the sunset damn the world!!

My larger point is Jhanak and this ties in with the core conflict of the story is that Jhanak is mentally not free to voice the truth that matters - that she loves Sirjee at least at this stage. She could have and liberated both but she doesn’t have the emotional and intellectual quotient to live with the aftermath. Yet knowing her truth does not automatically mean she is obligated to tell all other truths. It’s not her truth to tell, in every way it was Ani’s truth to tell Arshi and when they chose to keep it from her, family… I would think it wouldn’t be fair to lay burden of truth at her door alone. Her truth bombs in those situations were her way of rebelling but still mentally accepting that she owes something to Ani so there was always a to and fro privately that sometimes unwittingly spilled over but at all times it furthered the love story

Just because Ani reached the goalpost of voicing his feelings early doesn’t mean Jhanak could follow suit. If we don’t accept the motivations of the characters in their core element, the premise for the story falls.

In this story, one of the two had to carry a larger burden of being complicit in the “crime”… here it had to be Ani as POV of the story is built in such a way and situationally too he is the one who is in a committed relationship not Jhanak. This Ani butchering we talk about ( I don’t mean the poor writing that’s a separate topic) is inbuilt in this tale. Yet, it is possible to understand his situation too because inherently he is not a cheat… he fell in love in an earthshaking way and he is also trying to find his way out of the maze. Dil ke haathon majboor!!

I love these discussions as I love to argue for both characters. 😂😂😂😂

I loved the first Nayan matakka of Adi and Ani l😂 And immediately Ani’s mind went back to the ad shoot episode..

Rudra’s innocent’ aap kya lagte hain Jhanak ke - aap toh srishti ke son in law hain na ‘ and the wicked smirk of Adi- I loved it all 😜 There also Adi supplied him with a reply to satisfy Rudra’s inquisitiveness..

puppy eyes is helpless .. kuch bhi nahi kar paa raha.. he wants to pay for Jhanak’s medical expenses toh show wale say that it is their responsibility.. yahaa Adi says he’s arranged for a doctor and wants to take responsibility for Jhanak.. paper mein kya likhoge Jhanak koun hai tumhari was like fighting a lost case by Ani 😛

That celebrity ke intro scene was the best!

Aaj ka Anirudh aur Aditya ka face off scene bada mast tha. Aditya ne apt questions kiye ani ko...Jiska answer ani ke pas bhi nhi tha. Ani ko acha trigger kar rha tha. bs aise hi push karta rhe, humein old ani mil sakta wapis...

Ani was again being possessive for jhanak, how he stopped aditya from helping jhanak, like tum kyu karoge, hum hai yahan...hospital bills bhi main hi dunga, jhanak ka kharcha uthana chah rha tha...lol

It's just a start, ani boy. Abhi toh jhanak ka bhi samna karna hai. Baki aditya abhi aur trigger karega ise....
