Or even better him ... Him going to Jhanak's room, see those gifts, feel them, feel her presence in that room, him talking to himself, opening his deep emotions would make us more connected to him...

Now he got one more competitor who is possessive for making jhanak career a success so makers need to show that ANI is also putting some efforts for her career but no efforts for love. So now love feelings took a backseat for everyone and buth Guruji and ANI has competition for making jhanak career a success. Guruji will be definitely possessive for jhanak career and he won’t let jhanak get distracted. Also jhanak will put Guruji above ANI as evident from Hiba IV. Since ANI was kind of pati so it was not selfless but Guruji is totally selfless
