Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th Jun 2024 Written Update and EDT

No blurb. Normally ab tak aajata hai. Hopefully epi isnt delayed. Waiting eagerly for spoiler about what's coming up next.

Synopsis- Ruhi accuses Abhira of ruining her life by stepping into the Poddar house as the wedding planner. Later, Abhira confronts Armaan for concealing his past from her.

usmein Madhav ka face hai. lagta hai he will know the truth too. I hope he stops being useless and actually patches up Abhimaan instead of sitting on his ass doing nothing. He needs to show Armaan what mistakes he made which Armaan needs to avoid if he doesnt want to lose Abhira forever. His son and daughter in law need him to step up. If Madhav just gives disappointed looks with meaningless voiceovers - its gonna be so pointless.  he is not taking any action against Sanjay. He has alienated Armaan and is unable to give him good advice. He helped Abhira a little bit but not enough to actually prevent her from having a heartbreak.  but right now he is all Abhira has in her corner. I hope he is there for her as a parent and asks the Goenkas and Kaveri some tough questions. Madhav should know Kaveri orchestrated everything and confront his mother.

Lysty has guts to accuse Abhira. Shameless.  Hope the spoiler regarding abhira accusing lusty for breaking her marriage is true. Lusty deserves to be exposed 

Abhira questions Ruhi and she confesses about past and Ruhi accuses her of coming in between. Abhira is in shock asking how she came in between. Ruhi accepts she said ok to marry Rohit in"galat fehmi" and then talks about how he convinced her to marry Rohit. Abhira asks-Armaan did it for family, but why did you marry Rohit? 

Ruhi claims Armaan said no one will take her place in his life and he forced her to marry Rohit. She says Armaan told her about the deal shaadi and claims she therefore helped Abhira "settle" out of her goodness- Umm when?! she took every chance to belittle and insult her. and she also claims that she wanted to give Rohit a chance - umm when?! she was happy about Rohit being dead and wanted him to not come back. She lies with such elan that even Kaveri can fall for it. 

MG says to Ruhi- dont kuredo your own zakhm. Umm dude- thanks to your parvarish Ruhi is this pathetic insaan

Ruhi accuses her of Armaan changing because she came as wedding planner and says she ruined her life.

Abhira says- why didnt you tell me. Ruhi asks what would have changed. would you have left. taunts her for not leaving PH and doing tamashe, jhagde. 

Abhira says- you lived for 10 months with me. I took care of you so many times and took your side multiple times against family.why you couldnt tell me truth. You made DP and came to Mussoorie and then faked that it was for parivaar instead of saying you wanted me out because you loved him. She asks when you were getting married to Armaan, I was leaving house why didnt you tell me then. 

Swarna comes in between and asks her to leave and accuses her of ruining Ruhi's life and claims that she has tried to steal P Nanu also in addition to ruining Ruhi's life, shaadi etc. Surekha joins in. and hearing the accusations, she collapses in tears.

MG doesnt do ANYTHING. Kaveri is unmoved too. 

Armaansa is making plans for a romantic candlelight dinner and is calling her. but Armaansa your Kaveri dadi has ruined everything. Kaveri picks up Abhira's phone to silence the phoencall and it goes unanswered. 

Armaan suddenly feels restless and feels pain in his chest and falls on the bench but consoles himself that things will be ok. he also recalls wanting to tell her about his past with ruhi. 

Ultimately MG feels bad for Abhira and wants to help her up. Kaveri picks her up though. MG says galti is Armaans , not Abhiras. cant blame Abhira for anything

Before leaving , Abhira says, you may have a long list of my faults but I never played with a pavitra rishta like shaadi like you did! AMAZING BLOW. YOU GO GIRL!!!! That was a beautiful line. Its so true. Abhira made shaadi a deal only in impulse and grief but she never faked anything. She didnt fake love or consent in a relationship while actually loving another. She was always honest. 

Armaan meanwhile is thinking if he should tell Abhira about past ka truth now. He thinks as it is too many problems are there and everyone is our pyaar ke dushman. Armaan thinks how can I ruin our special moment when Abhira comes happily by bringing up Ruhi. he thinks that he can afford to lose chance with Abhira and he will tell her at sahi wakt. He says I know it wasnt pyaar- it was just dosti, understanding. saccha pyaar is what he has for Abhira, claims Armaan. he thinks she is the person who is different from him, challenges his POV always and makes him think about his actions and  thats why its always fun, refreshing. AWW . Its so well potrayed by Armaan. The dialogues could have been better written about Ruhi being an INFATUATION. there is no dosti, understanding when she guilt trips him and manipulates him. He needs to see that. 

Kaveri does dhong of wiping Abhira tears, gives water and then says get lost in a softer tone but she is still the EVIL MANIPULATOR. Kaveri claims Ruhi ke saath bhi bura hua to Abhira. umm woman- did you hear how she betrayed Rohit?! 

Madhav doesnt know what happened but he has a monologue about how he knows that Kaveri is gonna create MU in Abhimaan relationship like she has done once before in his life. Abey, toh phir why arent you preventing it from happening. Keep Kaveri away from them! 

Abhira reaches to meet Armaan after Kaveri gives her a spiel about not being miserable forever with him. Abhira confronts him. And then she spills the truth herself saying your first pyaar is Ruhi. Armaan is in shock. he realizes this is turning into a nightmare but cant do anything.

Precap- ends with last bit of prior precap and then she is temple making a declaration that her and Armaans raaste are alag from now on

Heartbreaking episode. So well performed by both Sam and RoPu. 

Kaveri is EVIL and Madhav, Goenkas are useless.

Abhira should say something like “I used to wonder why you were always lurking outside OUR room, now it makes sense.” 

Today's episode was hard to watch, especially with Abhira breaking down in front of the likes of Goenkas and Kaveri. I have always enjoyed kaveri-abhira scenes in general, but today they made me feel kinda sick. And this ruhi-armaan past revelation thing was probably one of the most underwhelming execution the show had. 

RoPu's subtle thing of counting points on his finger about whether he should tell Ab or not was nicely done. 

His reasoning for why he is not telling her is fine but the problem is this whole realization of wanting to tell her about Ruhi also only happened because Abhira reminded him of chitwaali as she was doing dressing

Otherwise I am not sure he would have considered telling her.

Instead of saying Ruhi ke saath dosti , understanding hai he should have said it was just a crush, an attraction. Because a real friend would have pushed him to accept his feelings for Abhira and not guilt tripped him

But the bits where he speaks about Abhira is very nice.

"Tum alag ho, mujhse differently sochti ho. kuch bhi karta hun, palat kar sawal karti ho. sochne par majbur karti ho. You challenge me, make me come out of my comfort zone. I love it"

"Everyday, every pal with you is new and refreshing. I love it"
