All of this just makes their reaction to the deal thing all the more ridiculous. Like that deal was merely verbal. They were married by law and rituals. The deal literally didn't impact anyone else. They could just have/have not divorced in a year as per their own wishes. 

It would have made better sense if Vi revealed to Ab.. But they want to keep her safe and ready to flip. Also if Vi had said, Ab would have believed there itself and there would have no Gk house scene
