I am choosing to look at it in a positive manner ..For Ani his relationship with Jhanak is a very pure and sacred bond...he can't think of her in this light ever even in his worst nightmare..but what he said also is not a right thing...and Jhanak needed to give him the wake up call regarding the consequences of his actions...that he probably failed to see in his love....
Aur i believe makers must have seen this sudden character assassination of Ani by calling him two timer, womaniser and mistress thing everywhere..If we as viewers feeling so bad about it.. I am sure those people who have created this character must have felt equally bad...toh they have made Jhanak raise this point before Ani...now Ani will prove Jhanak's word wrong and show that he is not a womaniser...and he respects his bond with Jhanak...
