Makers cannot show Arshi penduluming between good and evil for infinity.. atleast national tv audience will not accept it for long if Ani clinges to Arshi for long..I didn't follow Imlie show regularly..but I know that it was a remake of Bengali show Ishti Kutum...in the Bengali show, PL was never made complete vamp..in fact she had a very appealing arc...but in case of Imlie, makers had to turn PL a full fledged vamp after a point of time to keep the audience hooked...here also, Arshi will be made to do things that will place her as a vamp and pave the way for Runak union..

I don’t know about the show you are referring to but Arshi’s arc has been interesting… in fact all the primary characters are written decently well..

For instance Arshi being very influenced by her mom, seeking validation from her, her lack of confidence, the bullying behaviour, being led to believe how much of a slight the loss to Jhanak would be…. the slow poisoning and actions, circumstances, sins of omission and commission taking a toll… it’s like the situation is ripe for her to lose all sense of proportion…

Yes...she is shown as a character who is heavily influenced by her mom, who is an evil...she is a mentally weak character who is constantly fed with the idea that it is her only who has been wronged the most...she never puts her own thoughts in analysing a situation, good or bad...Given the current development, in the lives of the trio, the most logical response from Arshi should be evilness...if makers still decide to keep her as a so called positive character, then that's just absurd like many other absurd things happening in the show..

Moreover, I feel national tv audience is not ready to accept a positive third angle which is the case in some of Leena's regional shows from which she has taken cues from time to time in building Jhanak show..
