This Rohit Ruhi track is just a means to get the lead couple abhimaan married and to move the show forward. Writers still want to keep the antagonism between abhira and kaveri for future drama..but abhimaan need to get married as the abhira is the legacy heroine..they have to show her marriage , pregnancy, etc..now they’ll only get married if kaveri agrees to it..so I suppose they’ll show dadisa agreeing for abhimaan to get married because she’ll want to show rohit that Armaan is not interested in Ruhi anymore so rohit can move on with Ruhi. This is rishta..and side characters are only used as catalysts to spark events in the lead couples lives..we know that…so in order for kaveri to agree to Abhimaans marriage, but to still maintain the animosity she has for abhira..they’ve introduced this rohit Ruhi track..
