I think the makers are also heading to the realisation of the foreshadowing. Anirudh will be doomed while Jhanak will shine in her life.

Tom if he wants to quit the show then I wonโt be surprised.. cause his character is the most now people r hating like anything โฆI rem in Kahin toh hoga Rajeev who was playing Sujal was hero overnight. With his popularity & all โฆhis character Ekta spoiled like anything then he said he wants to quit the show.. everyone was heartbroken ๐.. that character Sujal was in everyoneโs heart.. then she killed him

You are right maya ! I actually donโt like when people say she is free from the burden! Because it never was in the first place. How can you possibly repay what they did for each other ? It started with concern, empathy and it turned to love โฆ and thatโs it !
Anirudh saved her life multiple times, jhanak sacrificed her happiness , her right as his wife .,. What they did for each other canโt be repaid! I know anirudh is looking pretty bad right now , and what he did was not the right thing. You canโt ask something like this especially, for who ? Arshi? It isnโt fair to jhanak. She already sacrificed everything she has for that woman, and what else can she sacrifice ? Itโs absolutely bonkers what they are writing. Ani has drowned in the guilt to see anything else. He is truly one track mind !
When you think like this was all โLen denโโฆ you are automatically taking away the purity of their relationship and the bond. You are now measuring their feelings and their debts. I hate makers for giving such dialogues โฆ the only way I want to see this is , jhanak might now consider Ani her equal or may be approachable is a better word ? If in case of Ani, he is always a protector first...whose first concern is always her safety sometimes to the point of overprotective....then in Jhanak's case it is the devotional aspect...which will always remain.....Even after this unfair demand from Ani... Jhanak will still love him..she won't unlove him..
Even when Ani will come down from that "Himalaya parvat " space to the real world.....then also that devotional aspect will be there....
And Aniruddh definitely deserves someone who will love him no matter what, Jhanak definitely deserves to be with someone whom she loves and desires so much....har khwahish puri honi chahiye iski...

Beautiful & understandable perspective if we will go in the depth..
But problem is in that "If" How many people who watch this show or in that matter any show go for such deep analysis? For them, what is being shown on the screen is the story & characters.... All they care about the face value, that too in not details, so for them dialogues & monologues does matter...
If they are showing such layered & complicated character like Anirudh, then they should handle it with utmost creativity & carefulness... But they are clearly lacking in it & that's the result of this backlash his character is getting...
Sohini, it was probably you mentioned in one of your posts that whether Ani understands that Jhanak loves him given the sacrifice she did and bequeathed the defeat to him.No Ani does not and I will say why and also why that is also partly the reason why so much harakiri can be done with his character.
One may ask ab issse Jyada koi kai hi pyaar kar sakta hain but observe closely, Ani knows she will lay her life for him but that is not what he seeks or sought ( I will use the past tense) He wanted her to feel for him without any encumbrances. He wanted her to forget that he had helped her and wanted her to feel for him just as Ani not Sirjee!! Go back to the various episodes from when he started to feel strongly for her.. Jhanak mostly understood his intention in asking her those leading questions ( the bday episodes particularly and there are others even in Kashmir too) but due to the impending doom she felt their relationship was headed for she always talked about the ehsaan and that used to irk him no end.
today he is not in any position to feel irked but unfortunately he is no position to understand the depth of Jhanakโs feeling becos he still believes Jhanak is utaroing the ehsaan!! If he knew that she was doing this out of love, yeh story ka wajood hi badal jata!!
I know many of you guys feel upset with Ani for asking this of Jhanak but I can only sense the pathos in the moment. I am convinced Ani did it in his warped belief that Arshi or Shristiโs will harm Jhanak if the win didnโt happen. Ani clearly knows he has no right to ask anything and therefore the old Ani who could manage everything ( Main sambal loonga) swag is all gone and in place is a sorry state that he is reduced to!!
He must hurt that apart from not having any influence in her life, he is also asking such favours of her.
Unfortunately the story is at this stage at even if he understood that she loves him, he is in such a sordid messโฆthat he canโt do much can he?
