ohhh that’s nice Mayuri so my 1st sep bday lists r longer now.. my dads bday always made me rem my friends & my another bff’s mom bday.. today 2 more added in that list .. my husbands bday also comes in September only .. & same days my another twins bff bday too ..

good that all have common bday date it’s not hard to rem

I always felt the pathos in this relationship will come to a head at some point. I can’t say I saw it unfold in this fashion.

I keep harping there is no other angle in this story.. no other chance for drama and even if they try any stunt it will only be by mutilating the core character and expecting people to be on board as the larger audience does not deeply reflect on characteristics.

I read posts where people are speculating about his jealousy etc… yes jealousy is a feature but within that he is also shown as a person who was trying to get Jhanak and Rahul married at one stage, reconciled to a life without her. For that matter, his taunts to Jhanak when her wedding was being arranged to Avinash was about her not doing justice to her dreams. He did not stand in her way and in fact wanted to spare no expense for her wedding even when his heart was in turmoil. So I feel people should make that distinction.
His irrational fear for Jhanak’s safety ( not justifying it just stating it as a trait) has him flipping off the handle and getting worked up and the writers may use that to drum the characterisation further but the narrative has shown Ani in a nuanced light in this respect

.He feels uncomfortable about Adi as he used to about Tejas. His fear of one was justified.. his fear of Adi.. I don’t know how it will go… maybe it will be unfounded.

However I don’t know how many of you noted… his changed demeanour while referring to Adi.. Gone is the old anger, the loss of Haq on Jhanak is now something he is starkly aware of, his plea while warning her of Aditya.. Tumhare kehne main chinta chod nahin sakta. Despite everything my heart went out to him at that moment.

I hope the writers keep this core of Ani intact. Give me a nuanced portrayal any day and I will take it!!

Looking at the phase of the story , ot would be so also..

I will never want a fate like Shakespeare's tragic hero ever for Aniruddh......Not even in my worst worst nightmare.....and you know that....

But isn't he characterized like that only ..??

Noble individual with many good, heroic, and sympathetic traits, all of which are counterbalanced by one potent flaw. This flaw eventually causes them to make poor decisions and downfall.....

Anirudh's tragic character flaw I think....he is a very very good/righteous person....but he also has been someone who hasn't been able to face many of his own truths for a very long time so he developed a defense mechanism to stick to the truths that he deemed acceptable.. Anirudh became so busy in deciding what is the acceptable truth for him, he never realized that his whole life has become a lie now.....

And running away from his truth has made him do so many mistakes....Him falling for Jhanak while being committed to Arshi...then getting rejected...but him still loving her even after deciding to move on with Arshi ; is not something that he is comfortable in accepting..as it does not go with the ideal persona he had crafted for himself. and he is running away.... giving rise to this misplaced sense of guilt and zimmedari.... towards Arshi.....

And ended up making this collosal mistake that pushed him further into darkness.....
