Is this a generalized statement for all her emotional scenes? Sam was exceptionally good in a scene when Armaan was stabbed, she was too good in emotional confrontation scenes with Armaan in their room post-divorce (Sam and Rohit both nailed it!). She was too good in under the blanket emotional scenes. Her recent emotional/confrontation scenes with Rohit post-divorce and marriage cancellation were all exceptionally good. She was convincing in emotional scenes with dukh dard peera for Armaan though scenes were too repetitive with monologues. Sam portrayed broken, disheartened and emotional girl so many times convincingly. Being a fine actor she has always been too good and convincing in her confrontation scenes with Dadisa. Maybe you are talking about hardly 4-5 scenes among her 300+ scenes. Being FL half of the time Sam has emotional scenes so only a "few" appear extraordinary that we are compelled to say she nailed it among too many.
70% IF users (Total votes 63) disliked Gravita's acting in emotional scenes (there are too many with bad acting) though we all know she is not getting more than 3 minutes screenspace except 2 episodes weekly from past 3-4 weeks. IF viewers are not blind fans mostly. If you conduct a poll on twitter, fb or YT Gravita will win by 90% (1k+ votes minimum) for unconvincing acting/ overacting in emotional scenes or she appears more vile/cunning than CVs want to portray her because of her acting maybe. Gravita's Ruhi doesn't appear emotional, vulnerable with a soft side even after being obsessed/ delusional (which she use to appear before) as of now Ruhi is only a vamp who plays victim and blame others for their miseries. I personally loved her acting during mandap scenes besides that scene never found her acting extraordinary/impactful, in my opinion she is not better than Sam as an actor. After Ruhi's character whitewashing she might be able to show versatility (soft, vulnerable, connectable side) in her acting.

When Rohit entered most of the online viewers couldn't connect with his acting or considered him too stiff and his portrayal was criticized for lacking vulnerability but it was actually his character Armaan that changed. Rohit proved everyone wrong by portraying most convincing vulnerable, emotional and broken side of Armaan alongwith perfect angry, betrayed young man side who confronted Dadisa.
