I was thinking the same no HR please and no Anu Malik too. Alka Yagnik and Javed Ali are alright I would love to have Shekhar or Salim as one of the judge with Alka and Javed.
Sony opted for, 'safe' approach in, selecting the same old panel of Captains.
My choice would be to go for the top two's from the previous Idols.
1. Pawandeep
2. Arunita
3. Rishi
4. Demosmita
I agree Pawandeep, Arunita, Rishi, Debosmita or Senjuti one of them and Salman Ali.

I am upset with her that she is not doing enough for her own career. I have ranted about this many times on the forum but it is never enough. I would like her to recognize that personal life has to be kept separate from career.
As a genuine well-wisher of hers, I only hope and pray that whatever decisions she is taking now, she should not need to look back on them later and feel regret. If she has decided that she doesn't want to become a big singer the way she is capable of, then I just hope and pray she finds that peace in life.

Oh how can I forget that I would say keep Hussain for both SS and Idol. I remember him and Asha hosting IIJ season 2 and whenever he says Ganda Jokes with paheli it reminds me of IIJ 2 days.
Given that they are going with the same captains, I don't expect any big change in the judges panel. But if they want to take new gen musicians as judges, I think Vishal Mishra, Jonita Gandhi & Armaan/Amaal Malik will be a good combination.

Jonita Gandhi, Vishal Mishra, Armaan or Amaal Malik would be good. I have seen Jonita judging kids show few years and she was good. Same for Armaan and Amaal too they were good too but I haven’t seen Vishal as a judge in any show but as a singer I like him so won’t mind. Honestly koi bhi lelo beside HR, Kakkars sibling and Anu Malik.
