I respectfully disagree...if you see an average indian household where MIL thinks her beta is raja beta and can do no wrong is the only thing i can relate. luckily for me i have not seen such toxic family in my immediate or even in my neighbors or any of my acquaintances.

I feel though i dont want to generalize that such regressive and 'I am the Man' mentality is there generally in very lower classes. Brars are educated, top class businessman family. The top businessman of the year cannot identify right from wrong is not believable. be it his behavior with Seerat, the diamond kaand or even supporting wife

i am not saying there are no regressive people but now the newer india is changing and the setting they have shown doesnt fit into narrative

In a family not everyone is dumb or cruel where as in Brar mansion everyone has shown a streak of cruelty as well as massive dumbness. They have shown their moral corruptness N number of times where they never were surprised on Seerat angad marriage announcement or didnt really cared about their duaghters.

i dont find their reactions normal too. in this immediate scenario a normal household, daarji and bebe would have taken Sahiba aside and asked her whats the matter.

I find Brar family and Angad classic abusers and i wont term them as average household mentality

And the problem is if they show such heinous crimes in the show then treat it carefully. But no, they never show apt punishment or outcome for it. Even popular shows in ITV make sure to close such offensive tracks by punishing criminals. Here crimes r brushed under the carpet as if nothing happened. And they bring even bigger crime in next track for audience to move on from previous one.

I just want Sahiba to give f** o* to brars. She should not care about Brars what they say and should never care about them. I liked her attitude how she did not give any explanation on all blames and when Inder tried to emotionally manipulate her. Angad was stunned after that. She is is just going to spend 180’days with angad under one roof she should make it clear and nothing else. Angad expression looks so emotionless and no guilt or regret in his face.without saying sorry he is expecting to improve the relation . This man with every episode stoops low to new level.

The reactions of Brar family are similar to what happens in some families - saying that thappad galti se hua and all. Baaki sab is of course fiction and just for drama.

By the way my post looks like I am supporting Angad and the Brars? 😅 If so, I am not ( would hate to even mildly support them). I was just wondering if they are trying to depict a regressive household. I was talking abt the current track mostly. Maybe yaa... Shouldn't have used average household. Yes, sis... I will be honest here... Daily shows are meant to entertain. If people start boiling blood over it, what's the point in watching. One point which MOST people miss is..."itv is not for messaging."

The people who get hyper over TV shows are the soft targets

That's all right Nuttuji. But the problem is that TV has a huge influence just like films. These are broadcasted in the rural households too. And on top of that we are the consumers.. They are making this for us right... So there's is a basic commitment towards ur audience that you ought to follow... Is what I feel. I am not saying each and every minute detail should be taken care of....but something like Crimes being nicely brushed under the carpet won't fare well. But now they are showing a.. I dunno.. Something g that a regressive and toxic person could do. And they are showing both sides of the story without glorifying I guess.. Can't say... I have just watched a few minutes here and ther.

I agree. The main issue is all the crimes are normalised so much under the garb of fiction that if it follows BCCC guidelines, makers show it.

Audience ka goal is content while PH and channel is money. Jaane do. I will not bore you with this

But if you ask me I believe Crimes should be addressed whatever they show. I am still hoping for Keerat ka honour to be restored.
