As for the part about misbehavior , adhya is as much of a battmeej as pakhi. Infact pakhi used to appear like a spoilt teenager , but adhya appears like a grown adult like dolly, dimpy with her choice of words.

And Adhya stopped receiving even her (adopted) mother's attention the moment she was adopted. She was 6 something. If the timelines are to be believed, then in the one year of her being adopted, she has seen hell. On the contrary, she was expected to adjust, accommodate and not even complain on getting abused.

When was there a genuine attempt to bond with her, ever by the people whp chose to consciously bring her in their lives?

About badtameezi, let's not even get there, because the kids (on the show) have only seen when their adults fight in the language not caring their presence. Classic example of Ansh's language during Dimple-Tapish wedding.

I cannot believe even in their day and age people still have this mentality where adopted kids are not considered own and are expected to behave like slaves. Don't know what education system we have in india where basic values and empathy are not taught.

No wonder we have news about adopted kids being tortured and being treated as slaves in indian

And comparing a 7 year old to 16-17 year teenager is next level mental gymnastics.

All moms should leave 7 year old on their own I guess, same as teens. Or is it only for adopted kids who should be slaves and servants and don't deserve love?

I am sometimes ashamed to read opinions of some Indians in 2024 and am scared that some of these people are parents themselves if they believe 7 year old kids should be left on their own

The fact that in 2024 there are people who say things like - she is not even her own kid so she should adjust - is mind blowing to me.

It's clear adopted kids are not little babies with feeling but like animals or slaves to these people who you can adopt and then treat like slaves.

I remember as far back as late 80s and early 90s government used to run campaign about adoption and how adoptive kids are same as your own kids and need love.

And here we are in 2024, with this mentality. Oir education system has failed us big time.

And Pakhi was 21 years old just after Maan marriage n got married to Adhik n landed in KM with Anupama so she was not sixteen when Maan got married.

Her father was already married that time.

Frankly, if you look at the larger picture, it does Not matter what the age of the characters is, what their character holds in the storyline (there is none). What matters is that just to elevate the leads who ARE WRONG no matter how we try to look at it, are we ready to (in a futile attempt) butcher every other character, customs, traditions, serious social issues?
