The entire Poddar family has happily gathered to select rings for the couple AbhiMaan for the upcoming shaadi/ engagement . They have moments of fun n masti. Abhira is troubled by the high prices of the diamond rings .
Abhura goes to her room n rechecks her bank balance which is around 5Thousand only. Vidya comes there n understands Abhira’s woes . She reassures the entire poddar family was with her . Vidya understands Abhira’s hesitance on the lavish gifts n purchases and Poddar family spending so much . Vidya gives a long lecture to Abhira , how to give more importance to relationships and not on money. So what if she did not have money , Poddar’s have , and in marriage money plays small role, mutual love, understanding, trust plays more importance. She should take care of emotional dept n Armaan will take care of the finances . Kaveri over hears this conversation n smiles n walks away. Vidya encourages Abhira to select a ring for Armaan .
Rohit suggests Ruhi select a ring as he too wanted to gift her one .
Madhav leaves as he has work , Manoj too has to meet some client , they leave together . Ruhi tries to make Armaan select her one , as she tries to manipulate. Armaan looks at Ruhi questioningly and Ihit gets jealous . Manish notices the tension, she advises RoRu to stay out of the ring selection , exactly the way they wanted AbhiMaan to stay out of RoRu date… this is for AbhiMaan , if RoRu wanted for themselves they can calls the jeweller separately . Manish Chachi takes Armaan to his room for his ring selection and takes chorus gang along with the ring boxes .
Abhira asks the jeweller to show pure gold rings .but the jeweller insist this is Poddar family n they are loaded with precious stones and pearls , they don’t wear plain gold . Abhira feels uncomfortable and hesitancy as she looks at the expensive diamond rings .
Dadi sa comes with new name “Pratima “ suggestion for Abhira . She hopes this name will make her less rebellious n talkative . She will be a demure bride n bahu . Abhira refuses to change her new name . Kaveri then gives her long lecture , not making sacrifices for Armana as he was doing for her , she emotionally blackmails Abhira to think of changing her name . Daadi asks her to think over it . After the upcoming function she can decide peacefully n decide . Abhira agrees to ponder over this new name . Vidya is concerned for Abhira , Kaajal and Sanjay wonder why Maa sa was doing this l Ruhi smirks seeing Abhira’s face n she knows Abhira would rather save her name than marry Armaan. Rohit takes Ruhi away . Daadi sa asks her to accept her suggestion for the sake of AbhiMaan happy married life in future . .Abhira becomes upset over the name change suggestion.
Armaan joins Abhira and informs he has selected a ring for her , he helps Abhira select a ring for him, He notices Abhira is upset, tries to probe but Abhura hides the name change thing on Daadi’s suggestion Armaan cheers up upset Abhira and helps her in selection. Abhira makes an excuse n goes away .
