Yet to watch the episodeβ¦but a few quick thoughts
About Aditya Kapoorβ¦ well I am not clear what was the idea behind that challenge? For all you know, it could be a way to bait Ani as Adi has shown a super awareness of this couple so atm I am not going to read too much into this. In the narrative, Adi is not the suitor here and I donβt think the serial has the bandwidth to deal with a quadrilateral ππ so they are using Adi to tap into Ani and I will explain how ( just my povβ¦not sure if itβs so)
From the current track, i am only looking at it as a wake-up call for Aniβ¦ like you mentioned above. Not about a free pass but I think Aniβs romantic inclination towards Jhanak has built up in a gradual way that he hasnβt recognised the definitiveness in his affectionsβ¦ He uses vagueness to describe itβ¦ which is also why he gets misunderstood. Sometimes itv chooses a narrative to suggest that the protagonist isnβt aware of being in loveβ¦as in what it actually means!! I think Leenaβs vision of a person in love but not aware of the depth of feeling is personified in Ani very well ( even with stupid screenplay/mediocre writing that element shines through) so I feel they are going to use Adi to bring that out; it will still not serve a great purpose with Arshi angle still in place but it a definitive arc for Ani

He has already confessed in front of Jhanak in Kashmir....still what confusion...he had said to his family that I have understood who is my love & who is my zimmedari....toh actually samjha kya tha isne.....
Okay but on a serious note.... I think he knows that he loves Jhanak but he is dreading to accept it even to himself that he still loves Jhanak.even after all this "shadi and Arshi" jaap..Even today she is still not a past chapter...his guilt is a major factor here...
In the initial episodes what stood out for me was the clarity that Ani always had.For him Jhanak was his "zimmedari"....at least he believed so...who was very very important to him but he used to say Arshi is his love...Thats why RuNak thrived on emotional intimacy..thereβs never any sexual tension initially as he was fully confident of himself that thatβs never going to happen. Now when I look back He trusted himself much more than Jhanak trusted herself in this matter...She had the emotional awareness to realise what it might lead to.but for him...his trust on himself was Evident because thereβs zero inner conflict or hesitation of any kind on his part while lying to her own people or even Arshi for Jhanak & her safety...bcz he had compartmentalized his life...and his conscience was clear that he was not doing anything drastically wrong here...just trying to keep everyone happy as it is a small thing..The sheer level of his candour in doing these things can come only from a total lack of guilt because heβs absolutely sure nothing untoward would happen....
But then things happened...Then gradually after going through so many ups and downs physical tension came into pictures..and when he finally confesses his feelings , not delving into who did what..but things went wrong.... terribly wrong...that today probably that fever night is something both of them are regretting probably...May be he thinks he crossed the line in the relationship by Confessing it or may be by falling in love only...
Sooo it is not a good emotion to go through when your trust is broken.... it is even worse when your trust on yourself is broken....it is kind of a shame that he is going through that is making the acceptance of his feelings for Jhanak soo difficult for him..
I believe through Aditya...he might understand Jhanak's emotions better....they might end up having a conversation that will open up so many doors for them to communicate....and may be he will end up respecting his feelings for her a bit more...

That urge to keep Jhanak safe has always been a trigger that Ani can never ignore...So now thanks to Aditya ,Ani definitely is gonna be alert wrt Jhanak.... always keeping tab on what's going on with Aditya wrt Jhanak...

And how will Arshi take it???....Is it gonna make Arshi behave more and more horribly.. with him...Is she gonna expose herself more...by doing something to harm Jhanak along with her mother.....
He was clear when he said ki kaub mera pyar hai kaun meri jimmedari where he referenced Arshi as jimmedari. But when his family and Arshi tried to guilt trip him and then he was like Let me correct what i have (Arshi) and also its good for both of them as he thought jhanak will not come back. The confusion that he created himself was just to supress his feelings for Jhanak as she won't come back. In his one corner of heart he still had love emotions for jhanak. Again when Jhanak came in front of him his all supressed feelings came out. Arshi will still be in picture as he has committed to her but now he will not be confused about jhanak love. Now its only Runak story again developing and Arshi/Adi will be the part of the story. Now Jhanak will be more free to express her feeling s like what we saw in today song which she never did before. Yaa looks like that.. her ignoring him & not forgiving him will hurt him more badly..he deserves all that treatment from Jhanak⦠he did very bad with her doing all that with Arshi.. not standing up for them against his family when needed.. & main in this when Jhanak was accused.. he stood only for Arshi saying my patni is imp & all.. now that patni is sane & alright he came for Jhanak
when she needs him he never stays there.. even during that sindoor reversal rasam.. there also he could not.. allowed his family & Arshi to do whatever they wanted.. now itβs his turn to get & feel that hurt & pain
