Jawan showed other ennemies...Chinese paramilitary ones and inner-Indian ones (Khalistanis, if I'm not mistaken, corruption/contempt for mankind in politics and big business).

Pathaan showed also the deadly danger of multinational terror-groups for hire.

Pakistan mainly is chosen because of the population being mainly Muslim, the politics allowing terrorist groups flourishing there and people there and in India having almost the same language...it's mainly a 'thing' in the Hindi filmindustry and mostly catering to a political narrative.

A few years back, there was a phase when some celebs, Deepika included, took a stand or at least played the part of activists, raising their voice against tyranny. Now, they all seem to keep their distance from everything. In fact, Deepika herself doesn't seem bothered about starring in the same jingoistic movies. I'm not sure to what extent they can be blamed; fame and money matter, and no one in their right mind would easily let go of them.

The second season of Family Man had ISI involvement shown too. Its basically ISI trying to partner with smaller terror outfits to cause terror attacks. Main player is ISI in both the seasons.

But in first season focus was on ISIS man n secon on Samantha as srilankan terrorist. In background ISI man is helping both

because the indian audience (a large chunk) will watch anything that is Anti Pakistan

i've been saying this forever, the war films with pakistan/ISI is boring af, they need films with wars against other agencies and countries like England's MI6 and USA's Central Intelegence.

Spy universe, Jawaan sab commercial movies hai jahan par kuch aman ki aasha aur ISI k saath love story jaise bakchodi chal jaata hai

Par jab bhi koi film Indian Army, Airforce, Navy par banegi chahe border ho, lakshya, fighter tab yeh sab Pakistan se pyar nahi chalega

Kyunki aisa karne se Soldiers ka insult hota hai

Lakshya mein bhi Aman ki aasha walon ko sachai dikhayi gayi thi

That is what I said. Main player and enemy is constant- ISI. In the 3rd season north east insurgent groups will be shown. I am sure even there ISI will be shown involved.

Bcoz India is scared of China and most Indians don't even realize what a major threat that country is otherwise Bollywood would show China as the big bad.

It is easy to fight a smaller country, be it in real or reel life. I'm sure Akshay Kumar will very soon make a movie that bashes Maldives lmao

The biggest problem i have with fighter is that they are using a real life incident such as pulwama to make a fictional story. Apparently they going to show a indian soldier captured and tortured by pakistan and hrithik is going to save him, basically that indian soldier is based on abhinandan. When the reality is completely different, abhinandan was not tortured by the pakistani army and he returned back to india in a peaceful way, nobody had to go into pakistan to save him. So why show something in this film which didn't even happen in reality? Or just don't even mention pulwama and make it completely fictional, It is just going to create more hostility and hate for no reason except for trying to make money out of peoples emotions, along with the really hostile and hateful dialogues they put in these films.

This is a very common approach with movie making in any movie industry and there is nothing wrong with it really, as long as the movie is well done

Sorry but that is a very ignorant outlook.

Pakistan is chosen because we have had icy relations with Pakistan ever since that country was created. It wouldnt have mattered if Pakistani govt and Pak backed terror outfits had done the same things, while being a Christian majority. They would still be enemy no. 1 for us. The wounds will never heal because they are kept fresh by direct and proxy attacks from their government even today.

Also we have plenty of Muslim majority countries in the vicinity - all of middle east, a lot of south east asia, etc. If Muslim majority was a factor, we would have had these countries as bad guys in our movies too.
