Nobody in the industry is shareef..... but the female actors are pissed of being either having their movies snatched from them or being relentlessly pitted against aloo by her pr ..... the male actors are irritated with having the credit stolen when movie does well and being the fallout guy when it flops...

Kjo has his own set of problems... he has alienated the people who made him famous.,, he was banking on creating the next set of superstars but unfortunately everyone is worse than the other...

Catching up on the controversy. Watched Savi and the story was really good.

Irrespective of how Alia has performed in Jigra or how well made is the movie..what she did was unethical..Divya is right in calling her out

After all these two r huge and one of the biggest entertainment companies...never knew such high level professionals can be so open and out & about in public.

Oh that's so disgusting how they reframe films like that to blame everyone but Alia. I had no idea Kalank was blamed on Madhuri as well.

Did they forget how little screentime she had in Kalank? She has one dance, only at the end, and otherwise they force her to stand there watching Alia's graceless performance. It was so insulting to her as an actress that this was the role they came up with for her. I wonder why she agreed to it but I heard the original script (an old one meant for Kajol back in the 2000s) was heavily modified to center on Alia and downplay everyone else. I doubt Madhuri will be working with KJo and Dharma ever again.

Hearing that Deepika was the original choice for the female lead makes more sense. Ghar More Pardesiya would have united these two stars from different generations in one song. Had Deepika been cast in the role, I konw Madhuri would have been dancing alongside with her in a 2-heroine song. It could have been another Dola Re Dola. Look at all the great actresses who have danced alongside Madhuri including Karishma, Aishwarya, Manisha, etc. but dear Alia was obviously not of that caliber and could not risk being overshadowed.

What's worse is Madhuri's role was originally meant for Sridevi before her passing. Can you imagine how insulting it would have been to her pan-Indian fandom to give Sridevi such a miniscule role?

exactly, you're only as good as your next hit in Bollywood. Dharma has been crashing and burning for years now. Not one real hit. People put up with him only because he was successful at the beginning but now even that's gone and there's no incentive to tolerate him anymore.

No wonder the movie with Salman never materialized. All these big stars are backing away from KJo.
