Waise tou story seems all typical anyway. Class difference being the hurdle for the two lovers. The guy goes to make something of himself and uske peeche the girl gets married. The treatment of the story can make it or break it. Waise tou hype already started when Hamza's name was announced but HumTV is really not pulling back. Allah kare aise hi chale warna tou DeD ka bhi bohat hi hype tha pre-release but we all know how the channel ended up treating it in the long run 😆

i slightly disagree with you. i don't like both extreme different / unique character. or else story way out of reality. here mannu will keep ground safe for salah ud din to fly high. and we have two-two male and female leads so chances are high if story didn't kept under leash it will mess up. hamza himself is a buzz literally. but he is a do dhaari talwar... there exists both his extreme basher and supporters. HUM dont want that kid of publicity. so no wonder they trying marketing.
BTW does mannu get married to gohar behind salahuddin's back..and let me guess ayesha will be salah ud din ki dulhan... Are they actually going with unrequited love theme? NO hell! i hope directer don't make it what i am thinking right now.
PS don't remind me the way treated DeD that too when it was going to high time. Hum has very incompetent marketing and PR.

I didn't mean I want Mannu to be something totally hatke! I was just saying that she should be an interesting character on her own as well rather than just as a love interest for the hero. She can be that without being extremely unique..it's all in the treatment. I am done with women being treated as plot devices for the men to succeed or "fly high". If it's a love story with two, both the characters should be individually good as well as together.

I'm guessing that Salahuddin goes out of city for job opportunities because he wants to be worthy of Mannu (as she is from a rich family) but he takes too long to return and she gets married. Pretty sure that's how it's going to be. As for unrequited theme...the story is being described as a "man's eternal love for a woman" which worries me cuz it makes it sound like Mannu will move on in her marriage. *sigh* I don't want that. But I don't want another Alvida either. Can't Gohar's character die peacefully two days after marrying Mannu so we can all be in peace? 😆

Obviously i too don't just want her to be barbie doll in show. she should have some traits to make her stand her ground. right or wrong bt she should have her view. here salahudin has to be on front foot coz story is about *HIS LOVE* for her. even if is a love story show has to be from any one point of view his or her third person multi pal type often fails. it should be on person at a time then other one has to complimenting.
What you said about plot is rather horror. i hate that husband wife and her EX stuff. and ayesha her role will determine many things in plot. i don't think he will have that obsessive thing for her. i think she will have unsuccessful marriage and he is all lonely in his new life after being settle financially. and meet again after years.but they should be single/divorce when united/Reunited. i remember during alvida i was feeling bad for both guys instead of girl thou i know she was victim of abuse.
and i about gohar toh woh agar first episode mein hi doob mare toh i wouldn't mind.😆

I'm not worried about Salahuddin being on the front foot because it IS essentially his story. I'm sure Mannu will have her track as well but I can see Salahuddin (I'll just call him SD -_-) being the central part of this whole love thing. His struggle, his emotion, his loss, his "eternal love" and I like that. It makes me excited. I just looove seeing men who have this pehla aur aakhri pyaar wale emotions. Very slim chances of him being an obsessive lover though. He looks like such an adorable munchkin! Ye kya psychotic obsession karega? 😆

I was going to go way ahead of myself in the comment so I won't go there 😆 But I agree..I hope it's a logical happy ending for them with them uniting. No deaths or "hamari mohabbat sachi thi per qismat hamare haq mein nahin thi.." and Mannu will become Mikael ke 4 bachon ki amma and SD will be forever alone dil se 😆

I'm baffled that how will we tolerate Gohar? Ever since Maya's name was announced for the show, I've had this urgh reaction whenever I think that Gohar is also in the drama. And their characters end up getting married. Total facepalm events hain ye tou -_-
