Ever wondered why an actor with 100% success ratio with a director with 100% success ratio as well delivered the Most Critically Acclaimed Film of the Year in October but it turned out to be an underperformer in an year like 2018 where every other film is hitting the bullseye, I mean Varun was the ONLY actor to deliver 2 Superhits in an year like 2017 which had just 9-10 success and almost every other major star churned big flops last yr
Is it bcoz his "masala stardom" got exposed (chalo kisi type ka toh fix stardom hai unlike his contemporaries 😆) or simply coz October was indeed a morose songless, pretty much heroine-less Art-House film (yeah I know this "niche" "art" term is abused alot by gathbandhan ki sarkaar wale😆 to cover their favs All Time Disasters, but should be used when true) besides kuch stars toh apne forte "Romantic genre" & "Self-Discovery" genre mein bhi Disasters deke baithe hain😆 Varun's lowest verdict is still Average.
