Is Madhuri's filmography underrated or overrated? - Page 7

She has done a number of good films, such as Saajan, Anjaam, Mritydand, and Pukaar. But she's also done various masala films. So I think she is neither overrated nor underrated.

The only film I watched of her was Anjaam which I loved and that because I'm a huge fan of Shahrukh. I thought Madhuri did a brilliant job in that movie, great acting and of course great dancer. I'm always used to watching her songs only.

Overrated in this forum and JDJ

IMO Madhuri dixit is the ultimate benchmark for all the actresses. Highly underrated on this forum and famous than other actresses in the real world. She enjoys a whooping 13 million fan following on fb which no other yesteryear actress enjoys. On top of that she is the last superstar actress produced every by Bollywood a complete package that no one can replicate. And yes she is above all even sridevi and Hema for me in terms of acting and dancing .

She is not more the queen..there are many others..even better than her!
She's all bout me me me! Too much ego! And self praise!
And damn the way she acted on jhalakh 🤣 🤣 queen samajh me rakha h apne aap ko.. I havent even seen any of those movies you mentioned.. except devdas! She has gone old now..in age as well as in the industry!

In fact, very close associates of Suchitra Sen know that the legendary actress stopped watching a Madhuri Dixit film on a television channel after she realised that Madhuri's histrionics had close resemblances to her own performances in films like Bombai Ka Babu and Mamta.
