Chapter 1
Abhira closed her eyes and felt the droplets of shower on her face.....However closing her eyes only ever gave her one flashback-her mother's death.....And the person who was responsible for it,she was married to that man..Armaan Poddar.....She hated that man,the man her mother gave up her life for.....And now she was forcefully bound to him because of her own mother....She quickly took her shower and came outside wearing her formals.....She wanted to be out of the room before Armaan woke up but alas time was not on her side as she saw Armaan looking at a file.....She quickly sat near her dresser and than started to get ready.....Suddenly Abhira was stuck at sindoor.....She quickly put her things in her purse and was about to leave when Armaan stopped her......Armaan shut the door and stood before her to talk to her.....
Armaan (offering her the money)-Abhira tumhe zaroorat padegi.....Please le lo.....
Abhira (turning her face away)-Mai aapni zaroorat ka khyal khud rakh sakti hu Armaan.....Tumhe kuch bhi deni ki koi zaroorat nahi hai....
Armaan (taking a huge breath)-Pati hu tumhara,koi baharwala nahi hu......
Abhira (coldly)-Pati banne ko maine nahi kaha tha Mr Armaan Poddar.....
Armaan (sternly)-Ha theek hai nahi kaha tha,par Akshara ma ne kaha tha.....You need to concentrate on your Masters Abhira....Mai jaanta hu tum freelancing kyu karti ho....So that mere paas paise na lene pade but filhaal tum Masters par focus karo.....Easy nahi hai bahut tough hai......
But Abhira left without taking money from Armaan.Armaan quickly messaged Madhav.....Madhav asked him to relax....Madhav looked at Vidya.Both of them prayed so that their children's married life could be without any troubles....Madhav stood right outside the door of living room along with Vidya.....As soon as Vidya saw Abhira she nudged Madhav who stopped Abhira immediately.....Abhira scrunched up her nose when Madhav gave her the money.....
Abhira (nodding)-Papa nahi,iski koi zaroorat nahi hai......
Madhav (emotionally)-Ek taraf papa kehti ho and ek taraf paraya bhi banati ho.....Abhira beta,aapne Masters par concentrate karo mushkil 4-5 baaki rahe hoge......Doosra semester bahut tough hota hai....Freelancing kuch time ke liye baaju mai rakh doo.....
Vidya (nodding)-Tum hume aapne parents manti ho na toh bas paise le lo beta......Aur tumhare papa theek keh rahe hai....Aapni padhai pe dhyan der.......
Abhira took the money and smiled at Madhav and left for her college.Soon Madhav and VIdya left for Armaan and Abhira's room....They saw Armaan sitting at the headrest of the bed with a worrisome face.....Vidya sat next to Armaan while Madhav settled himself in one of the sofa opposite to Armaan's bed.....Armaan was worried about Abhira....Deeply worried......She still had those nightmares no matter what she did....He had forcefully made her start therapy just last week.....His wife was extrmely stubborn and yet he had fallen deeply and passionately in love with her....He knew that she hated him or at least tried to.He understood her reasons.She was very attached to Akshara,for she was Abhira's only family but he too knew that logically speaking even if he hadnt intervened Akshara would have died for Yuvraaj Chaudhray was very defiant to kill the person who had taken case against him......But he knew that all the logic was useless because Abhira was grieving her mother's demise.....
Madhav (consoling him)-Armaan shaant ho ja,le liye hai usne paisa mujhse aur mai usse freelancing ka kaam chodne bhi samjha dooga.......
Vidya (asking)-Par Armaan tune hi kaha tha na ki Abhira bahut independent ha.Toh agar usne kaam kar bhi liye tu burai kya hai beta,ulta uska dhyan divert ho jayega......
Armaan (nodding)-Masters bahut tough hota hai Ma.Especially last ke months....Woh kitni exhaust ho jaati par maanti nahi hai.....Bahut zyada ziddi hai.....
Vidya (hesitatingly)-Tum dono ke beech sab theek hai na beta ? Mai jaanti hu shyaad usne kabhi nahi socha hoga ki itni jaldi uski shaadi ho jayegi.....Kya woh abhi bhi tujhe.....
Armaan (taking a huge breath)-Ha.Par Ma sach kahu,iss waqt usse koi logic samajh nahi aayega.....She is grieving for Ma.....Aur dard mai koi samajhdaari nahi hoti hai...Aab tak woh mujhse talak ki umeed lagakar bethi hai......Aur jab mai mana karta hu toh woh aur gussa ho jaati hai......
Vidya (explaining)-Thoda sa aur waqt de usse....Ek toh ekdum se bhare poore family me aa gayi.....Aapni Ma ko kho diya......usse bahut pyaar ki zarorrat hai beta.....bahut akela mehssos karti hogi woh.....
Madhav (asking)-Aapni poori patience iss mei laga do beta.....Pyaar karte ho na usse.....toh pyaar nibhao.......Love is always unconditional Armaan......
Armaan agreed with everything his parents told him but he for the love of god couldnot understand how to remove the wall Abhira had made around her heart....She laughed with full heart with his entire family.....She smiled with everybody but as soon as anything came to him,she would absolutely go quiet.......Armaan freshened up and went to work......Armaan didnt show it to anybody but Abhira's words did hurt him....He loved her with all her heart and she hated him....He didnt know how to make peace with her,make a new start......He looked at the time.He decided to go and pick up Abhira at her college.....She had a therapy session today and he would drop her....
Armaan made way towards Abhira's college.Abhira soon spotted him...She was stunned seeing him here but she realized that today was Thursday and it was her therapy session.....She made way towards Armaan and stood near him...
Abhira (hesitatingly)-Mai driver kaka ke saath ja sakti thi.Tumhe aane ki koi zaroorat nahi thi.
Armaan (bluntly)-Tumhare saath mujhe aana hai ya driver uncle ko woh mera decision hoga Abhira.Tum mano ya na mano mai tumhara husband hu.I have to be there...
Abhira (coldly)-Kya kahoge Therapist se ? That you were the reason my mumma is dead aur kuch nahi mila toh tumhare hi saath shaadi karwa di meri......Unhone mujhse aapni life mei bahut kuch chupaya hai but he decision shyad unka life ka sabse boora decision hoga.......
Armaan (strictly)-Abhira !! Tum shyad aapni Ma ke baare mai galt soch sakti ho par mai aapni Guru ke baare mai kuch bhi galt nahi soch sakta.......gadi mai betho....
Abhira (nodding,angrily)-Nahi mai khud chali jaogi....Nahi chachiye tumhara saath....Just leave me alone......
Armaan (patiently)-Abhira Armaan Poddar mujhe gussa mat dilao......Sit in the car....Warna utha ke rakh dooga aandar tumhe itna yaad rakhan...........
Abhira (angrily)-Nahi matlab nahi.....Please akela chod do mujhe...
Abhira suddenly yelped when Armaan picked her up and made her sit in the car.....Abhira tried to get to Armaan's keys to open the door but Armaan prevailed......On the way,Armaan glanced at Abhira twice but she was too much angry....He dropped her off at the appointment and he sat outside in the waiting area at the clinic.......Abhira had twice asked for divorce from him and he had denied twice.....
Soon after the hour he saw Abhira coming out and the nurse asked him to go in and see the doctor.....Armaan went inside to see Dr Avantika Bakshi......Avantika was somebody in his mother's age......She was one of the best therapist in Udaipur and she specialized in Trauma cases.....Avantika gestured Armaan to have a seat......
Armaan (asking)-How is she doing Dr Bakshi ? Theek hai na ?
Avantika (chuckling)-This is not medical treatment Mr Poddar.....Koi fix time nahi hota iska but I know what you mean....She is still in a lot of trauma especially since uske saamne hua hai ye sab.........And there is lot of discussion about her mother Aksharaji as well....She is angry at her mother.....And you are there for most of the session......
Armaan (chuckling sadly)-Jaanta hu kuch bhi accha toh nahi hi hoga Mam....
Avantika (smiling)-Armaan that hate she is holding on to zyada din taak nahi hoga.....She knows and sees your efforts you are making in this relationship but problem ye hai ki uski mumma ne jo baatein usse chupaiye and the fact she has died,unn sabka gussa tum par nikal raha hai......She knows,the logical part of her knows that you are not responsible......Aksharaji took away the right of making decisions from Abhira on lot of matters........Naraazgi unnpar toh nikal nahi sakti issliye tum par nikal rahi hai..........(hesitaingly)-Armaan she will have a breakdown sooner or later,you rather be with her for that.....She is holding a lot of it inside and that will come out......Maine kuch medicines di hai usse,Anxiety attacks ke liye...I prefer ke yoga se ye sab control me aa jeya toh behtar hoga but if it doesnot than use these medicines......
Armaan took the medicine and both of them were on the way back to Poddar Mansion.......Abhira glanced at Armaan once but she moved her sight away quickly......She still remembered what her therapist said.....Her words were echoing in her mind.....

Oh this is so good. Absolutely love this reverse trope where it's Armaan who is in love with Abhira and she's distancing herself from him. Her anger does make sense and I'm glad Armaan sees that too. She needs a lot of love & care right now and I'm very happy that the Poddars seem to understand that. I hope they all stand by her and make her see that they truly are her family and they love her, especially Armaan. I know he's also hurting a lot but I'm sure that once Abhira sees through her grief, show will go above and beyond to make sure that Armaan doesn't feel this way again.
