Exactly. The only good thing was that abhira grew up away from the toxic goenkas and birlas with tha values of her father nd ended up having no emotional baggage like the previous gens and ruhi.

It was the most sensible decision by Akshara. Whatever she did earlier without going deep into that I respect her for single handedly raising a daughter with manners, values, education and most importantly good morals.

Abhira can tell them that people dont typically lie in a petsonal diary and if knowing Ruhi caused accident , they dont blame her because she's just a kid or even more recently they felt she just accidentally ran over a dude who got injured and she should not be punished then Akshara also cant be punished for what happened to anyone "accidentally"

Moreover a person who does such accidents then will not go take a bullet for a random student she didn't even remember until he told her who he was.

These are all logical reasons you are giving. You are forgetting we are watching yeh rishta. Even if abhira the voice of the audience mentions these points it ll go over the head of the goenka And Podaars because they are people who would rather accept the crocodile tears of people like ruhi.

Exactly, if writers wanted they would have atleast made mg strongly believe abhira is his par natin. He has had all valid reason along with the special connect he feels for her. He even found out there is someone in the same city with akshara's photo interested in celebrating her birthday.

Itna dumb banaya mg ko, so clearly they are not up for the revelation now

Dekho, practically speaking all the dialogues & how story moves are in the hands of writers & production house & producer. If they can make mg say those dialogues at mandir, they can change anything as per their wish to move the story ahead.

Simple sa logic hain, they had to make abhira sing o kanha during Janmashtami, but were not ready for identity revelation now, toh de diya usko yeh dialogue. They may/may not highlight this dialogue in future.

I think abhira was saying the truth, why should she hide something about which she is not aware

Yeah.. Why should she lie about it when she also doesn't know about her mother's connection with them? She might have heard it in a temple only.

I think the fact that Akshu died will weigh in on their emotions here. I dont expect the writers to actually put in efforts to prove Akshu’s innocence and Goenkas’ redemption. The IR is only happening now for the wedding and for Abhira to have a maayka. Akshu’s death + Abhira being their great granddaughter will maybe overwhelm Goenkas and I think they might even just brush this whole Aarohi accident thing under the carpet making Ruhi go more cuckoo. Eventually when she gets exposed, they will simply blame her actions on childhood trauma of supposedly losing her mom due to her maasi and probably make Abhira take care of her.

This is also what i think will happen especially if there are not bringing anyone from the past. The goenkas ll brush everything under the carpet. Swarna maybe excluded because she cares only for ruhi ( so much that it ll ruin ruhi's life, that's a diff discussion). Ruhi ll be irritated by this ofcourse and ll plot more against abhira

When ruhi ll go too far, the truth might come out.

Gen 4 feels like stuck at one point, the fact that the very first promo of this season would still apply in the current storyline 😂.

Gen 3 as much as messy and controversial, it was an entertaining ride.

Emotional baggage and trauma of Ruhi is an exaggeration. She got a decent enough upbringing and is always given long rope by all including sasural folks for no reason. she's responsible for her own crappy personality now. This crutch of baggage, upbringing, trauma,etc that she gets is not really fair imo. Yes her childhood hasn't been great but neither has Abhiras, or Armaans . Everyone has had something and lacked something. Even Rohit or Krish/Charu have had some childhood issues with things they wanted but couldn't get. Rohit had absentee father and was made to feel like he needed to one up Armaan always . So no one had baggage/trauma free childhood. But only Ruhi has turned out so stupid and pathetic.
