Ok for me I don't read a lo so mine is limited.

Pride and Prejudice: I would love to see Bilal and Hania

Persuation: Hiba and Hamza

Jane Eyre: Hamza/Danish and Sajal/Sabeena

Crime and Punishment can also be well made if made of limted scenes. Only billu can do justice on my mind . For girl maybe Sehar.

Good idea Mala. smiley32

I used to read more in my teenage days.

But for a Pakistani drama I only dreamt of Peer E Kamil , starring: Ahmad Ali Akbar and Yumna Zaidi.

Jane Eyer is another fav.. I watched almost all the movies and a mini series which were adapted from it. I think Humayoun Saeed and Sabeena Farouq fit the bill.

I heard peer e kaamil has some controversial content so most likely will never adapt.

Humayun and sabeena do fit the bil. I think in the novel the age gap is around 20 years. But then they can also make a modern stroy with appropriate age gap.

I know Peer E Kamil may not get adapted.. but still I find it one of the best of Omera Ahmad.

Jane Eyre is perfect as it is. Love know no boundries.

No. I downloaded it in Urdu. It has Arabic letters so I can read. But how can I understand the meanings of the words? For this I searched for translation. It was translated in Arabic, but I failed to get a copy. So I downloaded the English translation. And it was great. smiley4
