A patient who was laid on the hospital bed opened his eyes.
The doctor smiled.
Doctor:Thank God!You recovered.You were in coma for 6 months.
He was shocked:6 months?
Doctor:Yes.
He:Thank you Doctor.
Doctor:You thank your girl friend Sonalika. It's she who brought you to the hospital at the right time after the accident.She spent 24 hours with you when you were in coma.
He saw a girl standing in the room.
He looked at her.
She was Sonalika.
She was smiling at him.
But he was expressionless.
Sonalika took him to her house.
Sonalika made him sit on the sofa.She sat near him.
Sonalika:You take rest Anurag.
Anurag:How do you know my name?
Sonalika:On the accident spot your purse was lying down.I found your identity card there where your name was written.
Anurag:Why did you lie to the doctor that you are my girl friend?I have not seen you before.
Sonalika:To admit you in the hospital and conduct your operation, the signature your family member was needed.So I had to lie that I am your girl friend.I am sorry.The doctor told you to rest for some more days.After that you can go home.
Anurag was silent.
Anurag:Why did you look after a stranger like me for 6 months when I was in coma?
Sonalika:I am working for a NGO.I like helping others.
Anurag:So helping me was a charity.
Sonalika:I did not mean that.
Anurag:It's ok.Are you staying here alone?Your family?
Sonalika:I am alone here.But I am having lots of friends.Small children are my best friend.I am associated with an orphanage as a part of my NGO work.There i met many kids and they became my friends.
Anurag smiled.
Sonalika kept talking about those kids and slowly slowly Anurag felt drowsy and unknowingly she slept off on her shoulder.Sonalika smiled seeing him sleep on her shoulder.
After some time Anurag opened his eyes only to find himself on her shoulder. He moved away from her fast.
Anurag:I am sorry.I don't know how...
Sonalika:It's ok.You slept off and that's how it happened. I didn't push you away as I didn't want to disturb your sleep.Anyways I will make tea for you.
Sonalika walked out.
Sonalika brought tea for Anurag.She saw him weeping.
Sonalika:What happened Anurag?
Anurag:I just remembered my life.First I was forcefully married to a witch like Komolika.Then when I decided to marry my love Prerna she too left me and married Mr.Bajaj.Mr.Bajaj trapped me in a fake case.Though Prerna married Mr.Bajaj to save me from the court punishment she too moved on with Mr.Bajaj for his daughter Kuki who she loves as her own daughter.I became alone.I started drinking to forget my pain.I met with an accident as I was drunk.I thought I will die and with my death my pain will also end.But I did not die. Why did you save me Sonalika?
Sonalika became upset.
Sonalika:Anurag!
He hugged her emotionally.Sonalika caressed him emotionally.
Sonalika wiped his tears and said:Life has given you one more chance Anurag.Time will heal your wounds.Trust me.
Anurag was silent as he had no hope.
Sonalika:Do you like beach?
Anurag:Yes,I love it.Prerna and I used to enjoy there.
Sonalika:Let us go there.Maybe you will forget your pain for some time when you enjoy there.Get ready.
Anurag nodded.
They went to the beach.
Anurag enjoyed there like a kid.
Sonalika who was relaxing on the beach smiled seeing him happy.
Slowly slowly Anurag started becoming
comfortable with Sonalika. They became friends too.
Sonalika played a song.

They both started dancing together.Unknowingly they started dancing romantically.

Suddenly they both came back to senses and moved away from each other.They felt awkward to face each other.
Sonalika and Anurag were thinking of their dance moment.
The next day Anurag went near Sonalika.
Anurag:Sonalika...I want to talk to you.
Sonalika:Say.
Anurag:I have faced love failure in my life and I felt that I can't live anymore.But after meeting you I felt that I have to live.I started loving my life again because of you Sonalika. You filled my life with happiness again.I think I have started loving you.I love you Sonalika.
Sonalika could not believe her ears.
Sonalika shed tears.
Anurag:Why are you crying Sonalika?If you don't love me,I won't force you.
Sonalika:It's not because of that.I love you very much Anurag.
Anurag smiled.
