I agree with your points.
This is my problem with Hadi and Haya's relationship..it hasn't been shown in the best way possible so far..and I think today's episode further strengthens my opinion for me. I'm liking Imran and Sanam in this show, but that's not enough for me to overlook certain things.
As you mentioned, there's really no organic Hadi and Haya scenes. I felt today was the most important episode to show that, but nothing significant was shown. What was the significance of showing Hadi trying to put a grown up woman to sleep? If it's to show that he used to put her to sleep back in the day, well that's pretty dumb because to me that's a brotherly thing to do...and at this point in time, there's no room to show any of that.
The most important scene to dwell on their relationship was perhaps the beach scene. It could've been portrayed in a completely different manner by allowing us to see how Haya and Hadi really bond and that too RIGHT before Haya's wedding..yet it was less than 2 minutes..only had them running around and that's basically it. Has anyone ever noticed how Hadi besides feeling possessive over Haya, has NEVER done anything for her? The characters are shown to have this connection which individually they don't have with anyone else..yet that relationship has not been explored at all. Haya is getting married and doesn't seem too happy about it...Hadi initially sensed that Haya was getting married for all the wrong reasons..and then all of a sudden, Hadi just stopped showing any concern..especially when a guy like Rameez fails to have his very own family at his wedding. No talks between the two before Haya's big day..nothing of that sort for us as viewers to see where Haya or Hadi are coming from. Overall, I don't see the sparks required to show this sacred bonding between Hadi and Haya...and that's because of the direction and writing.
Another problem I have is with how Hadi never ever seems to remember Aroosa. He actually loved her..yet Hadi practically never ever thinks about her post her death? I find that to be a huge problem. Hadi and Aroosa had the best story in my opinion..because it actually had some direction..but, to show a guy never remembering his wife who he supposedly loved more than anyone, is pretty lame.
I admit this show is very entertaining..there's never a dull moment..but it's very flawed..and that's because of the writing and direction or lack of.
I understand. As important as thhe characters and chemistry are, the storyline is just as important. They haven't delievered Hadi and Haya's relationship as the hype was or to its fullest potential.
You're absolutely right. Yesterday's episode was the most significant and they wasted it. It could have had beautiful organic scenes between the two but they didn't show any of that. And putting her to sleep was odd and not exactly something that oozes romantic feels, it was very platonic. And like you said there is no room to show platonic scenes.
Exactly, the beach scene was the most important one and they completely wasted it. They could have shown them having some sort of conversation or really anything but they didn't. I feel like he only gets possessive when there is another man there, remember at the start when he saw Saim and Haya talking he told Haya that people like Saim only care about time pass and he was not pleased to see them talking. Exactly, they haven't explored Hadi and Haya's relationship properly and they want us to believe they have this special connection. I feel like they're taking the easy route and only showing the at the moment scenes; not many deeper meaning scenes (I'm not sure I'm getting my point across right). That was very out of character for Hadi not to continue showing concern, if you ask me it's just lazy writing. The characters aren't consistent. The writing and direction can be so much better.
I don't like how he doesn't remember Aroosa either, she is meant to be the love of his life and he barely talks about her or remembers her. Again, another problem with the writing and direction.
