Beginning of IPK and its charm
I loved the subtle nuances in the beginning episodes of IPKKND.
Khushi was always happier in her daydreams with stubborn, rakshas laad governor who made her life miserable.
God, I miss this show.
He was walking down the stairs, looking at his mobile, when he saw her.
A vision in red.
and the world stopped. He was immobilized and shocked by her beauty. He kept staring at her and literally scanned her head to toe. She was posing for the camera being unaware of his presence.
It was only when her saree slipped from her shoulder and she noticed his presence. He lowered his gaze for a while but again his eyes were at her. It was love at the first sight.

He did not plan for it, didn't think of it, didn't expect, didn't have a dream, or any deal with his fate but he got what he left at Dargha, a wish, a mannat...a key to his happiness, his peace. Oh well, he is the one who said that to Khushi on the road, tum bhi yahin ho aur main bhi dekhte hain ...meaning who pay the debt and who will be the right one in this quest but he definitely was sure they will see each other, will meet again.
Hmm, She landed in his office and seeing his words into reality he got mad, dropped her from his office but today he fell harder than that.
Didn't he?
Time stood still, hitched his breath and he forgot to blink. Seeing her fidgeting her hands, dropped down in his favorite color, he was gulping down his unknown desires. He might have seen many beautiful girls being in his business but he truly met the innocent beauty for the very first time.
His eyes were stubborn, refused to let go that moment but he kept her eyes on him the very same way. His soft, puppy eyes even didn't let her lose that moment. Did she feel something?
Oh, hell, yes!
But her upbringing and shyness made her instantly fix her saree and that made him look away just for a moment before his eyes were back on her.
Don't forget that his eyes traced her beauty from up to down just a moment ago as if he was checking her out....the very same way in Sheesh mahal when he couldn't keep his eyes off her lips.
A few minutes ago he shouted at her and now the same man was gawking at her as if there was no tomorrow. She felt uncomfortable as she looked everywhere but him. But her averted eyes didn't stop him for a while until La's voice hit his ears and he came out of his trance.
But still, they both kept looking at each other.
A new feeling, a new sensational feeling was attached to it even though she was nervous and he was angry...
He walked to her without taking his eyes off of her. When La made him realized the matter at hand about the dress. Then he spitted fire at her rudely that why she didn't follow his orders. But Akash and the photographer put forward their point of view leaving the rest for ASR but Arnav didn't deny it further.
Theek hai...
Ah! This Theek hai will change into Khushi, Theek ho tum...way later from this point but this is the beginning.
After giving his affirmation, he walked away from her not before giving her a backward glance as she was engraved in his mind and heart forever.
She didn't take her eyes off of him either. A tear fell from her eyes. She was hurt and tired by all the extra work all day long, and not only to that his hurtful words and intimidating aurora. But somewhere in between, she was relieved too and smiled in some photographs as we know by the calendar pictures when Arnav watched her smile and tearful face at the same time later near the poolside.
The inciting desires were igniting every inch of his heart this day on that he felt the very first time as he could never sleep at night without missing her, dreaming her, or remembering her.
Ek unknown Dhun...
That made him felt that something happened but he didn't want to hear it, accept it, or admit it.
But
He couldn't ignore it or refuse it...

IPK and the beginning of their journey is unbeatable, memorable, and so commendable by their acting, their chemistry and not only them but the makers and everyone who was involved.
1st Rabba Ve is my fav because he fell for her here for sure. He knew what was going on but shrugging all feelings he walked away but he had no way to deny it that she was someone who became special to him

Well said, after meeting her on the road, some where in his mind he was sure they will meet again and they did many many times. I hated the fact when he dropped her from his office but in return he fell for her and never had peace with himself over his wrong doings. He wanted to make correct things but it made him mad instead for seeing it impossible.

Beautiful and unbelievable moment and your words with these visuals have made it even more beautiful.Arnav's intense gaze and Khushi's enthralling beauty, that shyness, the innocence, that awkwardness, that hesitation...All was captured by Arnav's bold, stubborn, intense, and hot stare.
It is one of my favourite Rabba Ve.
Absolutely she was imprinted in his mind, and that day forward he couldn't sleep at all. He was a delight to watch as a stubborn young man just to seeing her meeting this denial while turning and tossing on his bed or sometimes just to stare at the moon like he was searching her in it.
Love what you said she was relieved as she was smiling in some pictures...and he was the one who saw it later. How hard was for him to turn the page from her sight.
