Ranbir's fanboyism to her has hyped her to different level altogether. Almost all 90s actresses were really good. I love Raveena like anything and Juhi is my second favorite.

Not overrated, surely. She was a wonderful, versatile actress and a fabulous dancer. But overhyped, certainly. She gained visibility due to the super success of HAHK. At that time only MD and Kajol had monster hits like HAHK and DDLJ. So MD gained over others like Sridevi and Juhi who were at par with her in talent. Juhi, especially, I think got eclipsed due to MD's popularity. I won't rate Juhi a notch lower than MD.

When she was acting, she was treated with healthy respect grounded in reality post retirement and her comeback ignited a hype that became unreasonable and her talents were constantly overrated requiring a suspension of belief.

umm.. she was not overrated during 90's or during her peak but she is overrated NOW !!

i watched her in pukaar, she was sooo frikin brilliant, such an amazing actress, soo beautiful, sooo frikin amazing

No. Sridevi and Madhuri deserved all the hype and adulation. But I wish the underrated ones like manisha and urmila had got their due.

Madhuri is very deserving for her acting and dancing. However, JDJ spoiled her image by over praising all the time...that a huge madhuri fan like me needed a break from this Madhuri Aura. Somehow I don't feel the same for her than how I used to adore before JDJ.
