No I don't think so...I feel whatever fame she got is because of her talent...if she wouldn't have one she would have washed out like other actresses in front of Khans...Kumar & Devgan

Kajol is another actress who has given blockbusters to the industry but still she got some advantage of being from a filmy family but Madz truly made it herself...Kajol also later known by her talent not by her family name.

So in my opinion I feel that both Madhuri & Kajol are not overrated at all...Infact they deserve this respect...

For Manisha...I agree she was most beautiful in her times but she destroyed her career by herself...being alcoholic and having several unsuccessful relationships in her early days destroyed her...She was from a influential family from Nepal and everything was going right for her but she destroyed it by her own...

I feel underrated is only one actress from that time "Urmila Matodkar"...she was beautiful, sexy, talented, with good dancing and acting skills. She played versatile roles in all her movies but still she didn't got the fame & respect that she deserved. She in fact delivered many successful movies in her times...

As usual, the forum will praise flop or smaller stars and pull down the bigger one.

But the fact is Madhuri was at that time the Most beautiful actress and people didn't go to see her acting, at which she is ACTUALLY amazing, in her films, they went to see HER and her dances. And that made her the superstar she was.

Kajol is better than Madhuri for sure but that doesnt make her any better.. Kajol survived on the hit pairing or she would still be doing forgettable roles before she starred in DDLJ.. Im not saying SRK made her career literally but if she hadnt done DDLJ or the later films she did with SRK, I can bet with her restricted acting capabilities, she would probably be long gone.. I dislike her cousin more offscreen but Rani is million times a better actor than Kajol ever was.. Yes she did experiment with films like Dushman and Gupt, but even they were as cringeworthy.. I cant stand both the cousins' voice.. 🤢 She isnt great looking either.. Her and SRK pairing is the most overrated thing in BW ever.. Overrated as af!!🤢🤢

Are you kidding me? I'm really shocked by your comment. Madhuri may be overrated but she's a brilliant actress and far better than these current ones like Deepika Padukone & Kangana Ranut . She's given so many great performances in movies like Dil, Beta, Anjaam, Mrityudand, Koyla, Teezab, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Khalynayak and etc.

Bad actress? Really?? I've already given examples of her excellent performances.

Bad dancer? Hell No

But I agree with you rani is way better than Kajol in acting terms

And about Srk Kajol i know it's overhyped as most of the things in Bollywood ...I love this overhyped couple 😆

Yo.. I didnt know its wrong to have different opinion in IF esp the opinion that majority of members will dislike.. Sorry I cant change my opinion on the fact that she is extremely overrated.. As for your comparison, Im sorry I didnt mention whom I was comparing her to find her overrated.. Well I would never use the current actresses as a benchmark even they are also amazing, sometimes even better than old actresses.. Current actresses are still relevant and has alot more to do before they attain the kind of respect of that of legends or yesteryear actresses.. My point is, I compared her with her contemporaries and older actresses and thats how I concluded she is overrated as af.. Even then its an opinion.. Chill dude or dudette!!😉

If being very versatile is being overrated, then yes she is.

If being one of the few actresses who can act, dance, and perform well is being overrated, then yes she is.

If having the grace and elegance you need in dancing is being overrated, then yes she's overrated.

If being able to still have that ability to dance and "wow" the audience with her performances even at the age of 40th is being overrated, then yes she is.

If being a judge for something she personally loves to do and is the best at it is being overrated, then yes she is.

If being one of the few best actresses that Bollywood has ever had to offer is being overrated, the yes she is.
