Jigra Box Office Day 6: Alia Bhatt starrer dips more; struggles even for a decent earnings

The film recorded the weakest opening for an Alia Bhatt film in ten years, with ? 4.55 crore. It garnered ? 6.55 crore on its second day but experienced a decline in revenue, earning ? 5.5 crore on its third day. With earnings of ? 1.65 crore on the fifth day, the cumulative total now stands at ? 21.10 crore.

"Jigra" has been in the news for all the wrong reasons recently. The film has encountered several controversies, particularly regarding Alia's casting in the project. Divya Khossla Kumar asserted that the film, which centers around a jailbreak theme, bears similarities to the storyline of her previous film, "Savi." She also accused Alia of manipulating the box office figures for "Jigra." Divya claimed that Alia bought tickets for her own film and announced a "fake collection" to mislead the audience.
