Alia Bhatt wishes Raha to watch THIS film when she gets older

Alia Bhatt’s debut film Student Of The Year may have brought immense fame, but she doesn’t feel particularly proud of her performance in it. Nevertheless, the actress shared in a recent conversation that it’s the first movie she wants her daughter, Raha, to see.

In a recent interview with IMDb, Alia was asked which of her films she would like Raha to watch as she grows up. Despite her mixed feelings about her performance, Alia chose Student Of The Year. She believes the fun songs and dance numbers in the film would be ideal for Raha. “I want Raha to watch Student Of The Year because it’s the youngest and the most chill film a kid could watch,” Alia shared. “It was my first film, and though I’m not very proud of my performance in it, it’s full of songs, and I think she would really enjoy that.”

When it came to which of Ranbir Kapoor’s films she’d recommend for Raha, Alia replied, “I want her to watch Ranbir’s Barfi. I think it’s very child-friendly… yeah, Barfi is a good choice.” The discussion also covered Alia’s aspirations for the future, where she expressed her desire for more children and a tranquil lifestyle. “Hopefully, many more movies. Not just as an actor but also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and a healthy, happy, simple, peaceful life filled with nature,” she shared.

Alia and Ranbir, who got married in April 2022, welcomed their daughter Raha later that same year. On the professional front, Alia’s latest film, Jigra, is currently in cinemas, and she also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War upcoming, featuring both Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. While Alia may not be particularly proud of her performance in Student Of The Year, it holds sentimental value for her.
