2001 : KAJOL : K3G (now don't say it was just a multi starrer, the whole film was based on Kajol's track with most screen time and importance in the narrative out of everyone alongwith srk).

2002 : AISHWARYA : DEVDAS (highest grossing film of 2002)

2003: KHNH : PREITY ZINTA

2004:VEER ZARA : PREITY ZINTA

2005 : BUNTY AUR BUBBLY : RANI (a BB and 2nd highest after no entry)

2011: BODYGUARD : KAREENA (u can laugh at the story, but the fact is that BG was a BB and kareena's role was as solid and as important as salman's)

2012: EK THA TIGER : KATRINA : (both salman and katrina had equally important roles with almost same screen time).

2013 : CHENNAI EXPRESS : DEEPIKA (yes it was clean BB and everyone was of the view that Deepika had a better role than Srk to perform)

And let's not talk about 90s where Sridevi and Madhuri were more known than their male leads to sell any movie for any circuit...BBs like Raja was called Rani, Beta was called Beti and Laadla was called Laadli by the trade after their releases.

Still not a single memorable character ( Gangu doesn’t count because it’s literally in the title of the movie) which one remembers by the character’s first name and is part of Bollywood folklore like Babli, Rhea of Rani, Geet of Kareena ,Nandini, Paro of Aishwarya , Shanti, , Veronica, of Deepika etc.

You are wrong on the verdicts. That way i will also inc Raazi for Alia. Most of these mentioned were only hits. Devdas, KHNH, Veer Zaara, Bubty Bubbly..none of these were BBs..

That’s because Alia is forgettable. She doesnt have any blockbusters or any iconic characters. She does “good work” and then everyone forgets it. For example even her fans have forgotten about Udta Punjabbut back then they couldn’t stop talking about it

Yeh mera bi mood nae ho raha itna liknay ka

All i was trying to say is that for e.g Raazi..author backed role..great performance..30cr budget..125cr in india net and 210cr WW...but a superhit ..so when we are being so technical about hits and BB in Alia's case..we shouldn't use those too casually for other actresses & call their hits as BB either

U denied no actress post 2000 gave a BB with an author back role

I presented many examples...I accepted those few that were just super hits...yet many left that were undisputed BBs with actresses having author back role in those...

U failed to prove if there is a single BB in Alia's 12 years long career.

Case closed.
