I completely missed her movie Savi.

It wouldn’t be the first time though that two movies have a similar story ideas or concepts. People have already compared Jigra to Sridevi’s Gumrah.

If I was Divya Khossla, I'd be very worried that KJo and Alia's PR machine is going to come after me and try to discredit me and my film.

Wishing Divya all the best before the fanbots come after her.

Torino writes about Gumrah (directed by Alia's father and produced by Karan's father) which could have served as inspiration. Savi is produced by Mukesh Bhatt but allegedly a remake of a French director's debut-movie (Pour Elle, 2008) with the main characters interchanged.

There is a long trail backwards in time relative to the inspiration given for the main plot by an Australian mini-series (3 episodes) with Nicole Kidman (Bangkok Hilton, 1989).
