Can I just say one thing to everyone who’s been an active participant in the thread? Its awesome to see no sl*t shaming or death threats towards Hiba Ali Khan and Haroon Shahid.

They are actors doing their job and lets be honest, irrespective of what a dumpster fire the show is, they’ve done a great job in making us hate the characters.

Hugs to each and everyone here to have healthy discussions without negativity!

My bet is they all signed on hearing the initial premise and possibly the ending so it sounded all good. Obviously since the entire "rich broken man saves damsel in distress and fights for her honour" sounds great on paper.

Rehana continued to write while everyone signed their work contracts. And then the shithole episode scripts were given to them, resulting in all of them reacting negatively. Since they couldn’t back out at this time (production house contracts are very stringent), they tried to make changes…but expressing their displeasure simultaneously.

Bottom line is once the dotted line’s signed you can’t back out…which seems to be the case of what happened here.

So actors knew the writing is trash and they atleast tried their best to change it. I was kind of angry with Hiba for selecting such trash script but what you said makes sense. I hope though now Danish learns his lesson and doesn't associate himself with trash writer like Rehana. Even Adiqa hinted the same about Jaan Nisar when she was reviewing the drama how the production house only gives half script and then they change the script midway and actors can't do a lot.

Its just such an injustice to the pair though as they are one of the most popular pair of PTV. Kaddu uncle did dirty to them

Yaar we are sane and can differenciate between character and actor. I like Haroon since Tinkay ka sahara and Aakhir Kab tak. Since both hiba and Haroon are making us hate their character they are doing great job.

People thinking good characters aren't appreciated should just look at the drop in views now that they have suddenly turned Nosh into red flag from green flag.

Started the episode with feeling sad for Dua but by the end of it Dumbass B had me feel nothing for her

Haha yes. I still wanted to address it. We always talk about the negatives, why not the positives for a change

When Haroon's casting was announced I knew he'd nail the villain bit. He's really good honestly. And I'm happy for Hiba Ali...she's been through a lot the last couple of years going by her interviews...divorce, mental health issues...no matter what this show's gonna help her bag more projects.

Production Houses kisi ke sagge nahi hote lol, unless its their own. They'll only work with actors as long as the actor is generating moolah, numbers, views and buzz. Its very easy to get everyone on board, get them to sign their contracts and then start doing whatever they want. Max to max kya hoga, actor mana karega...still they have to perform. They can't back out.

But I do feel this has been happening recently. Up till a few years ago it did feel actors got the complete script and only then did they decide to sign on or not. Even the making process seemed more genuine than now. But this happens in every industry when it starts getting commercialised.

People who say that audience only likes to watch typical stories should also look at this drop of views. When Naushu was green flag and dua was sane then views and ratings were so good but now they ruined the lead characters and views dropped too.
