Never watched initial episodes in detail but seems like more than Vidya, Dadi was the one who prioritised Rohit much more than Armaan and thus wanted khandani girl for Ro as Ar is still outsider for her.

I was wondering same ki just for internship both Abhira and charu had to do so much and then also family were against it but here Vidya is saying this.......

She forgot, Dadisa chose Ruhi because she thought she would be stay at home dil like others.
