Apne naseeb mein toh ek dhang ka villain bhi nahi likha hai... Why don't they just borrow a vamp from Ekta's show.
How satisfying it would be if Shruti just murders Dukhmukh and implicates Anupamaa in his murder & sends her to jail. Shruti can kill him because a long time back he had an affair with her mother and had killed her. This will also fulfill the long-held demand of the forum members to see him have an EMA. Then she can put a real iron chain around Majboor's neck and blackmail him to marry her or she will make sure to get life imprisonment for Anupamaa. She can also put a condition in front of him to throw away all the trash he has collected over the years, which he calls as memories.
Meanwhile, Vanraj and Baa can believe that Anupamaa is a murderer. Vanraj can vow revenge against her and take pratigya to get her a death sentence from the court. Tosu and Pakhi can first feel hesitant, but can then comply thinking that if their mother is hanged, their lives will become easier and their traumatic ears will finally find relief..
Kinjal can try to lecture everyone about the goodness of her mummy on which no one pays heed to. Then on one night, Pari goes down with fever. All doctors can go on strike. Kinjal hyperventilates since she does not know where to go. She thinks only mummy can help her. So she barges inside the police station to narrate to her mummy, about the apocalyptic situation she is facing at home. Anupamaa is in a dilemma. If she breaks out of the prison, sure shot she would be jailed, if not for murder, then for escaping. Kinjal further exaggerates the situation. Maa decides to break from the prison to help out Pari, after all, she is a grandmother. Both Kinjal and Anupamaa police ki aankhon mein dhool jhonkte hue escape from the prison. US police is not able to do anything. All their systems fail. Anupamaa goes to Kinjal's house, treats Pari.
Then Baa sees her. She gets very angry at her for killing her suhaag. Anupamaa begs at her feet that she did not kill Dukhmukh. She massages her feet to impress her and remind her of the services that she had given to the Shah House. Baa after taking the massage, kicks Anupamaa to the floor and gives her baddua that she may rot in jail for the rest of her life for giving her the pain. Anupamaa shivers, cries, begs but of no use.
Vanraj who was seeing all this drama from behind the door of his room, calls the police to arrest this runaway criminal Orat from his house. Police come and arrest her and put her back into jail.
The court proceedings begin. Shruti, Vanraj, Baa, Pakhi, Tosu do their best to get her a death sentence or a life imprisonment. Anuj thinking that his Anu may die, gets a minor heart attack. He decides that a heart attack is not a good way of dying. He wishes to die a death of an aashiq. So he goes to the court and confesses, that not Anu but he has killed Dukhmukh. Court, police without any investigation believe in his statement. Judge orders to hang him till death. Anupmaa is also given a jail sentence of 5 years.
Majboor dies. Adhya is sent back to the ashram where she grows up as a happy and healthy child. Spice and Chutney goes bankrupt. Shruti takes her revenge and leaves. Shahs live a peaceful life. They get more rich.
In jail Anupamaa finds it difficult to bond with her fellow criminals. She feels sad as her Bhashans don't work on them. The moment she tries to open her mouth, they threaten to kill her. Without speaking she feels lost. A man in his late 50s take pity on her. He is an underworld don with a heart of gold. Outside jail he is also a rich man. He tries to give her courage and tells her that she can do anything in her life. Winning the hearts of criminals is no big deal for her. Anupamaa finds encouragement in his words. She decides to give herself another chance. Take another udaan from the jail. Her fourth chance with him starts loading. After 5 years they both come out of jail. Anupamaa starts working for this man and helps him in his dubious activities. He falls in love with her.
One day Kinjal sees her mummy... The rest is history.....
