No, what Shruti did was a repercussion of Anuj and Anupama's attitude towards each other. They claim to be separated and not to be together ever again but are not able to hold their emotions making others surrounding insecure.

Anuj, the Mr. useless should have thought before committing but he never seems to use his bloody brains. He did the same with Maya, committed and then mein majboor mera farz aur pyaar nonsense baanch raha tha!!! I hate both these losers, they bring out worst in others. And now Shruti's worst side has been prompted out but as usual they 2 will only blame others and never accept their own mistakes.

Even if the roach was planted by someone, as a co-owner the responsibility squarely falls on Anupamaa. Her being a recent winner of super star chef competition, is all the more a reason for instant media attention.

Anupamaa’s initial reaction when the critics defamed her was also beyond ridiculous. Even if Shruti wasn’t involved or Mrs.Smith didn’t leak it to the media, other customers would have. Maybe it would get to the media a bit late, but it would surely make it to social media platforms. Again, irrespective of who did it, Anupamaa was at fault for negligence.

Yeah, she is not conniving to trap him. But she’s willingly leading him on by responding to his advances. It takes two to tango.

Anupama indeed is reacting to all calls of Anuj reaching out to her, but to her credit, she is not trying to trap Anuj. She truly wants him to be happy and is trying to do what she thinks is the right thing.

On her meeting with Ms. Smith, Shruti could also have saved the situation by apologizing there and then. She could have told Anupama that she couldn't have imagined how bad things would turn out for everyone at Spice and Chutney.

And for Ms. Smith, she should have gone to the food authorities and requested a thorough inspection, and definitely shouldn't have fed to the media frenzy by feeding them false narratives.

Won't bash Anupama and Anuj just for the heck of it.

Even before Shruti met or decided to meet Mrs Smith, there were people on streets of Fake Amreeca recognising Cockroach wali Anupama and making fun of her, a lot of drama happened on the streets before the news was leaked to Health Dept by Mrs. Smith.

So we are supposed to believe that if Shruti had not done it, neither Gulati nor social media would’ve been able to make it viral? All fault is of Shruti? Apparently, when Anuj went Mumbai because his child was snatched from him discreetly (without the reason being revealed by Onupama, again) and "co-habitated" with Maaya, when there was NO LOVE from Anuj only Maaya expressed her interest, Anuj and Maaya were cheating, Anupama suffered so much etc. etc. etc.

Same rules should apply to her, isnt it?
