Think of it.
Shruti, a successful photographer in America meets Anuj for professional reasons and the two collaborate and she helps in his event management business eventually being partner. During this time they develop a bond, start living together and she brings the much needed stability in their turbulent and Adhya sees the mother she yearned for.
Shruti discovers the truth on her birthday and decides to first clear both their stances before taking a decision. While Anupama confirms that although she may not love anyone else like she loved Anuj, she has moved on from ALL Relations, Anuj informs that Anuj wants a closure on their relation and needs time to get over and come to teems with the sudden resurfacing if Anupama. She decides to give him the time to rethink his decision and take his time while she postpones the scheduled marriage indefinitely. Things take a turn with her parents who have been understandably excited about a wedding decide to join them in America and Shruti loses her family.
Even in this vulnerable state, she insists on going to India by herself, albeit supported by Adhya and not pursue any further actionson the schedule.
She has an emotional breakdown due to her feeling of loneliness especially since the developments in America with Anuj continuing to keep her hanging and is hospitalised. It may be safely assumed that the reality dawned on her and she dears losing the only family left with her.
While things are trying to come to terms with the uncertain state of affairs with Anupama claiming innocence and ignorance of Adhya and Anuj, Anuj putting if any honest concersations, another crisis comes up. She is shot in trying to save Adhya and Anupama further putting her in a vulnerable spot.
Now the only family she has are Adhya and Anuj. Imagine the extent of her love for Adhya, that she consented with Anuj to bring Anupama to her house tocure Adhya, the one woman she detests and could be the reason to break her family. Her fears are showing up with the blatant cheating by Anuj and Anupama in her house, taking advantage of her state.
With so much that has happened to her, is desperation the right word for why Shruti wants to keep the crumbs of the family she has? Is it easy to walk out, especially in the current state and the age that she may be?
Yes, it is the right thing to do but the right thing is doing the worst to the victim but NO CONSEQUENCES to the Perpetrators.
What is perhaps the right punishment for infidelity?
