Really i thought it's a scene after the friends Engagement where she wonders what happened to him, like is he sick or something? Since he's mad at her. Because in the balcony scene where ashar leaves to dubai and she's crying, running to the terrace but he doesn't look at her, she's wearing the same clothes. They even wrote in the book that all those days she never changed.
