Unless their plan was to make us all dil ki mareez like Dadi just for funsies, they wouldn’t just scrap all these scenes. It wouldn’t be fair to the actors and the team either.

The 3 crazy plots they’ve given aren’t hard to frame within a timeline. Many of us have been able to draw conclusion and we’re pretty set that it would be marriage, death and cop, in that order. Now what’s odd is how they would fit all of these tracks within a few days of shoot.

Maybe they build up to the promise Dadi coerces Agastya into making. The precaps tend to always be more dramatic than the scene themselves as they are shot in advance. It’s meant to entice the audience to tune in after all. That’s why they repeat them for multiple episodes.

We didn’t see the phone call between Agastya and Imlie where she tells him to come back and he says that she’s right about their love being strong enough to withstand this. Despite their multiple confession, this was the first time we heard them actually say “I love you” to eachother technically.

Instead, we’re seeing their love in their tadap, their angst and their actions. Like for example, Agastya not being able to vow on Dadi’s head that he won’t bring back Imlie or how easily she put her anger aside to call him when she saw the family bond with Ashu.

Dadi is definitely taking the crazy route in her goal to get rid of Imlie, maybe after a few attempts she will pull out something wild to force him to make that promise. She’s not in her right mind because of the sadma, the fall down the stairs definitely didn’t help. Defeated and probably worried for her health, Agastya will accept by only on the condition that he gets to pick his bride, maybe he’ll use Nyonika as a reason for not wanting to go with their choice. Hence, why he shows up with Binni.

They could still show him rush the marriage rituals as per Dadi’s insistence but not be able to complete it. Imlie’s life could be at danger because of the stalker, which he could learn through Sonali or the security detail he put on her. He rushes to save her, discovers that Navya is linked to it and “dies” in the process. And then he comes back as Officer Bhadra to uncover the truth.

@bold:- But why would Agastya die ? That is what is confusing me. In the wedding bts pics Dadi had patti on her forehead. And then in the death ka promo Dadi was fine. That is really throwing me off. There should be a reason for Agastya faking his death na - Aakhir what is the reason for him to agree to fake marry and then fake his own death few days after(as Dadi is perfectly fine in the death promo)

Your story makes sense. May be Dadi will force Agastya to get married and he would be marrying her in the mandap and then he would have to fake his death. They can just stop the marriage at the mangalsutra part or the phere part and can show Agastya running to save Imlie. By doing that they will not waste all that they have shot and may be they will have to scrap only a tiny portion of what they shot - The marriage would not be done and the girl would be out of the show. Imlie might come back to the house to take care of Dadi and Dadi will also realize that her zidd did not help her case. Let's see.

In all the theorizing, there’s one thing I forgot to acknowledge. Call it a recent plot hole.

If Navya has been using Bola to commit the murders then why did she find out about the Kairi-Dhanraj connection through the police files? How would it make sense that she didn’t know about Imlie’s connection to Kairi either? Especially if she’s the OG killer than she would already know all of this and would’ve utilized it against the Chaudhary’s nah? They’re gonna write themselves into a corner with this one if they make her the real culprit.

So far she’s reposted the article stating that she’s joining the cast of Imlie multiple times on her story. No photos on set aside from the group selfie we saw yesterday with the rest of the cast at the mandap. Who knows if she’s actually here to stay, I don’t recall seeing her at August Babu’s “funeral” promo.
