If SONI and ALIA wanted.. considering the MONEY they have .. they COULD have renounced British citizenship.. gotten Indian citizenship and then gotten British Residency.

British Residency even allows them to vote , once they move from temporary residency to Indefinite Leave To Remain type Residency. They have ALL rights the Brits have, just a different Citizenship.

I know quite a bit about these things and with their money THIS could have been sorted really easy- all they needed is like 300k (or 30k GBP, not sure) GBP in a bank account. They also have properties in London- and that counts towards them getting residency FAST.

There's a few cases I know of that did just that because they wanted another citizenship - of a country NOT allowing dual.

So THIS SOLUTION worked for others- makes you wonder HOW COME they don;t take same route. ( Considering the length of having the British passport for both, them giving up the Brit citizenship and taking Indefinite Residency would have been a matter of formalities being filled... and some £700 paid for each.. Tight arses they are..)

By not doing this, it shows they are NOT interested AT ALL.

We can’t expect them to know all this stuff about British residency but they could atleast ask them one simple question

“If you’re that upset bcz you’re unable to vote, why didn’t Alia atleast (who was born, brought up, educated and works in India) give up her British citizenship?”

But they won’t

There is no rule...her parents had a choice. They could have gone for either citizenship but they chose British.
