Part – 76
In the lift… Maneet aur lift ka kuch special bandan hai…
Geet takes the list and tries to show it to Maan… she is literally holding it in fron of his eyes and moving forward…
Maan steps back to avoid any trouble, he has hit the wall, and he is trapped this time…
There’s no room for him to move further….
What’s she doing? Geet wants to show him something….
Its too close that Maan can’t read that even if he wished to…
Geet is getting even closer that there’s only space for that paper in between them..
Geet couldn’t see for she is blinded by the paper in front of her…
Does Maan even need to see Geet when he could feel her ?
Maan catches hold of her hands to stop her …
For a moment they freeze, Geet looks into his eyes as she couldn’t believe what’s happening….
Geet just wishes that Maan holds on to her hands forever like this….
Maan is recently seeing a lot of contradiction in Geet’s actions and the feelings in her eyes …..
Geet’s eyes have always spoken the truth ….
While Geet pleads for forgiveness and is desperately looking to make up for her wrong deeds, after Maan cleared her misunderstanding, she is also distancing herself from Maan…
But Geet’s eyes now clearly reveal her unfulfilled dreams that she has been hiding all these days…
Now that she has realized her mistake and knows the truth about Maan’s pure love for her, her love for him is resurfacing with a hope to regain the love that she has lost because of her stupidity…
Maan could easily read her eyes, they have only one query , “what more do you want when you have the rights over everything about this girl? ”
Geet’s eyes do the talking for she is not good at words…
Maan keeps looking for more information in those eyes that are filled with a lot of expectations….
They are not scared to question Maan, and the reason behind all those queries is pretty clear, for they are in love with someone so deep that they are demanding answers, they want to know where all his love for Geet has gone? They are trying to find that love as if they know that Maan’s love for Geet is hiding right behind his anger and he can’t keep hiding it for longer..
Maan can’t face her eyes any longer…
Maan moves her aside and let’s her off his hold….
Geet steps back to give him more space…
Maan: what do you want?
Geet is not hearing anything…
Maan is puzzled by her behaviour….
Geet keeps looking at Maan… she is lost…
Maan suddenly pulls her into a hug….
Geet surrenders and cries her heart out….
Maan consoles her…
Maan: shh, nahi Geet, mere hothe hue tumhare ankhon se ansoo ki ek boond bhi nahi ghir sakthi, it’s enough Geet, tumhe kitna rona hai who tumne roh diya hai Geet, ab nahi, ab mein humare zindagi ko khushiyon se bar doonga, jho kuch bhi hua usse ek bhura sapna manke bhool jao Geet, ab tum meri ho Geet, Maan ki Geet
Geet is so happy…
She hugs him tight to make sure that she owns him at last, now she won’t leave him forever, enough of her foolishness, she has realized that Maan’s love for her is bigger than her love for Maan and she also knows that Maan lives more than anyone else, his love is above everyone’s , for he accepted her in every condition, even with the baby that she imagined to be carrying, haina?
Maan: Geeeeet
Geet: haàan
Geet comes back from her imagination…. This time it is something that she yearns to happen…
Maan understands that she has gone into her imaginary world as usual….
Maan: Geeeet
Maan gives her a moment to come back to reality…
Geet: ye list, Dadi ne kaha
Geet is struggling to speak, she doesn’t know what she is saying… she is still reeling in her dream…
How nice it would be if it was not just a dream but reality?
‘Dreams do come true’, Geet, your time will come, no one but Maan will fulfill your dream and every wish that you have, and also every wish that you will have in the future…. Believe in him at least this time….
Geet looks at Maan itself, she is seeing a little ray of hope…
Maan: Geet, I know what I’m doing
Geet: but you never care to know what others want
That’s so true…
Maan realizes that Geet is partly right…
Maan: what’s the matter?
Geet: look at this
Geet shows one name marked with a '#1’….
Maan: toh
Geet: don’t you know what '#1’ means
Maan: what about it?
Geet: we should go there first
Maan: that’s how your stupid brain works, but not mine
Maan moves ahead…
Geet follows him and pricks his back…
Maan turns and stares Geet…
Geet: dadi told me to go there first for they are supposed to be waiting for us before they leave town
Maan: what?
Geet: you are making them wait unnecessarily
Maan: let them go if they want, we will mail the invitation
Geet immediately dials and gives the mobile to Maan…
Maan: what is this Geet?
Geet: now you tell that to Dadima
Dadi: halo Geet, Geat, aap log Mehtas ke ghar pohunch Gaye beta?
Maan: ji Dadi, we are almost there
Dadi is happy that Maan is speaking on Geet’s mobile..
Geet: mujhe jhooti bolke aap jhoot bol rahe ho?
Maan: Varan uncle ke ghar hi haina?
Dadi: Haan Maan, they are waiting for you
Maan: I know Dadi, I just wanted to confirm
Dadi: hurry Maan, you will be late
Maan: ok Dadi
Maan cuts the call….
Maan: what do you think you were doing?
Geet: you don’t trust me, so if you have any doubt please talk to Dadi itself hereafter
Maan: no, I don’t trust Dadi
Maan is suspicious as Dadi is insisting to go there soon…
Something is wrong…
Geet: what?
Maan: just keep quiet
Maan knows Mr.Varun Mehta, he is a friend of Dadi from her UK trips, he has become very close to the Khuranas now
Maan thinks that Jagdish should have invited him in person…
Maan doesn’t know that both Jagdish and Madan already invited them….
Maan reaches the destination fast… he is curious to know what’s happening actually…
It looks like there is some function at their place….
Geet is surprised…
Geet: yahan kya ho raha hai?
Maan: ab Dadi se poocho
Geet takes out her mobile…
Maan grabs it and stops her…
Maan: chup, bilkul chup
Geet follows him silently…
