Thalapathy Vijay’s 'Greatest Of All Time' (GOAT) set for OTT release - Streaming details here

After dominating the box office, Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film GOAT (Greatest of All Time) is all set to premiere on Netflix. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the highly anticipated action drama will be available for streaming from October 3. Fans were eagerly waiting to know if the OTT version would feature an extended cut, but according to the latest poster, the same theatrical version will be available on the platform in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

The announcement was shared by Netflix with a cheeky message: “Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T is coming to Netflix on 3 October.” This news has created a fresh buzz among viewers who missed catching the film in theatres or simply want to relive the blockbuster on the small screen.

GOAT had an outstanding run in theatres, recently completing 25 days on the big screen while grossing over Rs 400 crore worldwide. The film has been declared a mega-hit, continuing to perform well in select theatres across Tamil Nadu even weeks after its release. Director Venkat Prabhu took to social media to thank fans for making the film a success, calling it a "Mega BLOCKBUSTER" as it crossed the 25-day milestone.

The story of GOAT follows Vijay in dual roles, one of which is Gandhi, a former anti-terrorism squad leader who must reunite with his team to resolve consequences stemming from their past decisions. This high-stakes thriller is packed with action, drama, and a gripping plot. The film marks a significant moment in Vijay’s career, as it’s his second-to-last project before he makes his full-fledged entry into politics.

Apart from Vijay’s powerful performance, the movie boasts an ensemble cast that includes Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, and Jayaram. Venkat Prabhu’s frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajai Raj, and Aravind Akash also play notable roles.

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan, GOAT was produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram under the AGS Entertainment banner, with Archana Kalpathi serving as the creative producer.
