Dulquer Salmaan's Crime Drama 'Lucky Bhaskar': OTT Release Date and Streaming Details Inside

Dulquer Salmaan’s latest movie, Lucky Baskhar, featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the lead actress, released on Diwali, October 31. Competing with several other films, Lucky Baskhar has managed to make a mark and is pulling audiences to theaters. Meanwhile, fans are eager for its digital release, with social media buzzing about when it might be available for streaming.

Rumors suggest that Lucky Baskhar will make its OTT debut on Netflix after its theatrical run. According to reports, the film may start streaming from November 30. However, the makers haven’t officially announced the digital release date yet. This Telugu crime drama, directed by Venky Atluri, marks Dulquer’s third Telugu film after Mahanati and Sita Ramam.

Set in the 1980s, Lucky Baskhar revolves around a middle-class banker who is dissatisfied with his job. Despite his hard work, he faces continuous setbacks, including a denied promotion. Frustrated, he decides to take a risky path by laundering money to improve his financial situation. But soon, he gets entangled in conflicts that completely change his life.

The movie saw a successful opening, collecting Rs 11 crore on its first day. On the second day, it earned Rs 12 crore, followed by an impressive Rs 13 crore on the third day, bringing its worldwide total to Rs 36 crore. The film’s box office success is expected to continue over the weekend.

Lucky Baskhar is projected to earn between Rs 47 crore and Rs 51 crore globally by the end of its first weekend. However, the movie faces stiff competition at the box office from Brother starring Jayam Ravi, Amaran featuring Sivakarthikeyan, KA starring Kiran, and Bloody Beggar with Kavin.
