Yaar I love Manisha, but right now neither Armaan or Abhira have any parental figures left in that house. Today while atleast Kaveri tried stopping Vidya, Manisha did not say a word to her Jethani sa. Manisha tries but has no standing in that house. Was Naitik the only ML of this show who was able to keep both his mom and his wife happy ..after some initial hiccups ..the biggest reason for this was Akshara and Gayatri had a relationship of their own..both worked on it and made it happen ..after showing how relationships need to be balanced in an earlier generation, why is DKP hellbent on showing how to destroy them in the succeeding ones ?

Reason being that after the first generation, no other family had logical people who thought through before talking or taking decisions.

Naitik also had a lot of issues balancing between his mom & wife, but like you said, their own relations triumphed that. Akshara became Gayathri's daughter more than her own and she realised that Akshara was a beautiful soul who just needed a bit of guidance.

To build that, the character has to have the strength, which is missing from the writing in all subsequent generations.
