Sorry to say, at first I was surprised but now, not so much. Sometimes, prolonged irrationality does impact.
When she will be "rescued" from the clutches of the new adoptive parents only to be tossed around and neglected yet again, called names yet again (because thar is Anupama and Shahs nature), the insecurity and trauma will resurface.
Infact, she will realise that, for Anupama (by her own admission) is the only cure for Anuj and not her own will. She is just a means to the end. Before you ask why, just the way Anupama pointed out how Anuj believed his bhai-bhabhi knowing them well, one cannot deny the fact that Anupamaa believed the same bhai-bhabhi about Anuj and Adhya's wellbeing until she spotted Anuj in a direct state herself.
These are, at best, desperate attempts to show Anupama as the Mahaan Maa that she never was, neither is and out of her sheer nature, cannot be.
Her bhashans that were claimed to be liked and garner TRPs are an indication that people like the principle that Anupama stands fir bur when it comes to actions,the TRPs drop because she does the exact opposite.
