Bangladesh partition happened because of the ethnicity and location. Pakistan and Bangladesh has no border and the culture is very different from each other. It has nothing to do with religion.

That’s life babe. That’s how governments work, on popular vote. Sometimes you have to generalise to make a point. Otherwise good luck to you explaining nuances of 1.4bn peoplesmiley36you probably think every post bashing the govt is “well said” anywaysmiley36

Ahh there we go! But Clochette said if the religion was different, partition wouldn’t have happened but as per reality, turns out partition can happen even when religion is the samesmiley17

Righttt. Let’s tell the producers to do the morally right thing, forget about lining their pockets and profitability and just make good films even if no one comes out to see them and they make a loss.

Yes, partition can still occur even with the same religion. If same religion can make peace, then Iran-Iraq, Russia-Ukraine, Saudi-Yemen or China-Japan war wouldn’t happen.

It’s a case of life imitates art. Just look at this forum now. You’ll find a Pakistan and/or Muslim hater in every politically/religiously inclined thread. BWF has regressed back to caveman days. As far back as 2013, I remember nationality and religion were rarely ever an issue on this place. No one bothered to attack people’s nationality or religion even during petty fights. Its was a non issue. Now, people throw slurs around like it’s candy.

Your observation is on point. Gazillion of them and their responses are predictable. Maldives topic triggered the same.
