Woww. Geet on duty. When they would start their normal life like wed couples. Can't wait for the part, when they would start living with each other. Maan is devotee husband, who teaches a good lesson to his wife enemy. Even beloved husband to Geet. Can't wait for the next update.

G - Just talk while looking that way.

M - Huh!? What?

G - Can't you just lie down on your stomach and close your eyes.

M - ... Why?

G -... I... that..so many questions! Why else…you got sunburned! I'll put some aloe vera on you!

Maan immediately shut up and lied down on his stomach. Resting his face over his arms.

What an unexpected fortune!

Geet took out the cooling lotion and applied some on Maan's back and gave him a light massage along the way.

Starting from his neck and shoulders, moving all the way down to tapered lower back.

She could feel the powerful muscles tense and move as her cool fingers touched the hot skin.

Geet glided her fingers over the shoulder blades watching them tremble and become more prominent.

Ticklish?

She thought distractedly, while her hands had already moved onto explore and find more sensitive spots. Tracing down each notch along his spine.

Maan called out her name in a gravelly voice.

M - Geet...

G - hmm..

M - Geet?

G - hm?

M - ...

Maan turned and hid his slightly flushed face.

Torture…

This was sweet-sweet-torture...

Geet's finger ran along the helm on his beach shorts... she wondered if the sunburn went further down.

M -!!!

M – Wifey!!

G -!!!

Geet snapped out of it and jumped away from Maan.

G - umm...that. here... you can put everywhere else yourself.

She stutters and throws the lotion to him from a distance of 3 feet. Her fingertips burning from the previous contact.

Maan buried his face back into his arms. He couldn't laugh or cry.

He didn't want her to stop. But this wasn't the right place.

G - L…. Look at this time... L…Lets go and get ready for dinner.

M - why don't you go ahead? I need a few minutes to calm down...

It would be highly indecent if he stands up in his current condition.

G - I.... You... you take your time.

Unable to correctly understand the cause and effect of the matter, Geet ran away to their room.

She ran into the room and then paced around stupidly.

Unsure what to do.

Feeling mortified over her behavior.

Geet fussed around the room straightening up the already tidy room.

Finally, she remembered a long-ago conversation, that apparently cold showers were helpful.

When Maan returned to the room, Geet was in the bath.

He also walked around restlessly for a while having nothing to do.

Once his mind calmed down, he remembered another important matter and quickly took a gift box out of his luggage.

Geet finally came out wearing a loose bathrobe.

Maan looked at Geet's wet hair... few extra drops of water gliding down her neck and escaping into the robe... And the bathrobe ...

It's just a bathrobe... Why is it looking so ugly... Needs to be taken off immediately!!

Maan turned his back to Geet. Trying to calm down things which were acting up again.

With his back facing her, he talked to her.

M - We ...I... there is dinner...I mean... there is a small dinner get together. Not everyone! Just ... just some of my close friends. Will you go? With me? I promise you will not hate it.

Geet wasn't sure if she wouldn't hate it. But she still agreed for his sake.

G - Sure okay... what time do we go?

M - Another half an hour... I’ll... I'll take a bath.

Maan quickly escaped into the bathroom.

Without Maan in the room, Geet relaxed and quickly got ready wearing a silky chiffon dress which swayed with the wind.

Maan took a looong shower. Feeling much more calm afterwards.

Geet was almost ready when Maan quickly fetched the gift box.

M - Geet... this is for you. Belated Happy Anniversary gift.

Geet was totally surprised by the unexpected gift.

Not only because Maan called it Anniversary gift. But also, because it was the first time he formally gave her a proper gift.

It's been a long time since anyone has given her a gift.

Geet accepted the gift.

She looked at the delicate gift box blankly.

M - Why aren't you opening it?

G – I can open it?

M - ?? You think the packing paper is the gift?

G -... I... I'll open it now.

Geet carefully opened the box and saw a pair of beautiful vintage chandelier earrings.

G - It's ... exquisite! Can I wear it now?

Maan nods, relieved to see that she liked the gift. He had spent days trying to figure out what to give to her. Something not too expensive or she wouldn't accept it. Something she can use and looks pretty to suite her.

Geet quickly pus on the earrings, turning her head in the mirror to admire them.

G - Actually …I also had something to give to you ... but I didn't bring it here. But it's a good thing I didn't!! It's nowhere good enough as what you gave me.

M - I want it. I get to decide whether it's good or not.

G- It’s just a few small foolish things.

M - Good. Good!

Geet rolled her eyes and went back to admiring the earrings.

Sometime later Maan and Geet arrived at the restaurant and were guided to the rooftop area.

The rooftop was arranged to host a small gathering of no more than 15 people.

A few people were already present.

These were the ones who Maan had explicitly introduced to Geet yesterday. They were also the ones who didn't try to hang out with Maan all the time and had their own stuff to do.

Soon everyone had arrived and there was another round of introductions for the ones who came with partners.

M- You all know Geet. Those who don't. Watch better TV shows.

Geet silently kicked Maan under the table for his rude introduction.

While the guests laughed and nodded.

They politely greeted Geet, and talked to her about how she was able to tolerate Maan.

Everyone laughed and joked without any hidden intentions and Geet slowly relaxed in the atmosphere.

There was quite some time before dinner, and everyone agreed to play a few rounds of poker to pass the time.

Geet didn't know the rules well. She decided to stay by Maan's side and quietly observe.

To avoid things getting serious, everyone played with coins and pennies... even if someone wins a poor, they couldn't afford to buy a full meal from the winnings.

Geet shifted her chair close to Maan so she could have a look at his cards. Maan tilted his hand towards her to see.

M- No matter what card you get. Don't show any reaction on your face.

G - Poker face! Got it!

Maan leaned towards Geet and explained the rules and tricks to her while speaking softly.

Well I really laughed at the Geet act & then the condition of Maan too hilarious 😆 but finally everything settled down peacefully without much drama

I loved the gift specifically that Maan gave it was well thought off so that she can use it

Dinner party started nicely & then Geet finally relaxed in the entire atmosphere ... So all are playing & Geet is trying to learn the game

Fabulous Update

I'm liking the fact that Maan and Geet are spending more time

together and getting to know each other

wow I'm simply loving Geet's possessiveness, though subtle at the moment

rubbing Maan's back with Aloe Vera of course was the best way to distract him from

looking at the two jealous women
