Geet crosses her arms giving tough looks. All the whole suppressing inner mirth.

She never in wildest dreams could have thought 2 days ago that out of all the things... this is what Maan will be upset about.

Maan suddenly emerges from his doomed state his eyes gleaming.

M - I can demand anything?

Uh oh...she spoke too hastily, did she?

G - umm... within reason...

Maan gives a devilish grin.

G - On further thought I'll just cook more and let's call it even!

M - No can do. Now you owe me one. When I think of something worthwhile, I am going to come and collect.

He gives an animated evil laugh.

She raises an eyebrow.

G - It has to be reasonable I am telling you in advance!

M - uh huh...

Maan disregards her warning and started thinking up of all sorts of thinks he should ask.

Geet feels like she has lifted a big rock and dropped it on her foot.

But then shakes it off.

Another man's voice -. Hello hello? Finally, you picked up!!

M- Hello. Who is this?

The caller sounds like an angry man.

C - Who is this?!! Is this the correct number?! Damn it! Where is Geet? Let me talk to her right now!

M - Who are you?

C - I should be asking you this? This is Geet's phone! Why are you answering? Where is she?

Geet comes back to the office and sees him talking to someone on her phone.

She rushes up and snatches her phone back.

G - Why did you answer? What did you say? Did you tell them about yourself?

M - Who was that?

G - Answer me first!!

M replies coldly

M - I answered cause it was ringing constantly. I asked them who they were. I didn't say anything else.

Geet pats her chest in relief.

G - Thankfully you didn't say much, or it would have become an unnecessarily big problem!

Maan gets up and walks up to her.

M - Who was that?

G - Just ignore it.

M - I am not capable of ignoring this.

G - Fine... it's my brother... I don't want you to get mixed up in this. Last time already you were too angry.

After laughing enough Maan turns serious once more.

Even though the reasoning was hilarious. He still couldn't ignore the fact that they were pestering her like this. Talking to her this way.

An even more dangerous idea crops up.

Today they want her to marry him... what if tomorrow they pester her to marry some other rich successful guy?

No no this absolutely can't go on.

Her family needs to be dealt with. It's been long overdue.

M - Hmm... I know what I want for compensation. Let me go and talk to your family.

After office they drive over to her parents’ house.

The family is ecstatic after hearing the news.
