bold - if 2 girls do that - its called cat fight but when a male & girl do that, why is not called cat & dog or a wolf fight 😛

I do not defend any character usually on ITV, especially ML's - they are like the pendulum in CV's hands. The character can go from the best ML on ITV to worst in a single episode.

On a serious note, both the leads characters are seriously flawed. For the sake of TRP janta, ML will have bare the brunt of being abusive, for some odd reason - TRP janta loves abusive & manipulative ML's.

trp janta is largely that population who grew up in patriarchal society. they have certain values and they cant accept much against it...atleast older gen.

so if FL is rebellious then they have to make ML punish her by whatever stupid reason they can thought of so that they can balance it out🤣

LOL !!! The craze behind characters has been there since ages. I recall a old interview of Abbas, the guy who played the character of Shyaam in IPKKND - 1 = he stated, no girl was ready to marry him, when he goes to see rishta because girls are scared used to think, the guy was manipulative like his character. He stated on record in a IV, he is not like his fictional character, it was just his work. People fail to find difference between a fictional character & real person.

And the term "dis-like" has been replaced by "hate", not sure if its because hate is just a 4 letter word compared to 7 letter word or people have lost the sense of differentiation between the words.

In the past, you would see - I dis like this "xxx" or "yyy" or I don't like his character off-late, thanks to social media its more like I hate "xxx".

Same situation is faced by old movie villain Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor. I also remember old ramayan fans were upset because on screen sita and laxman getting married in real life.

Even Janice from friends show the way she speaks in show fans thought she talks same in real life.

In maryada show one of the lead was playing gay couple and in reality some thought he is gay only and face some issue because of that that's why he left the show.

Jaya Prada was also image concious that's why she always played bichari dukhiyari seedhi saadhi bahu and rejected nagin role

These are few examples. In earlier time there was no social media that's why viewers were scare but in today's world where you can connect and get idea how is the person in real life and dislike replace by hate which is affecting mental health also.

Even few fans commit suicide either because on screen couple didn't turn out real life couple or favourite character died in movie

😆

sometimes I wonder, may be they feel relief that FL is facing worse hardship than their real lives - guilty pleasure

In the past TRP aunties used to discuss about the shows, when they were free in the afternoons or evenings - since the spread of internet, many of them have joined social media as well.

I feel aunties discussion is much better than online discussion

Because they discuss only about character or clothes jewelry and accessories and no talk about off line equation. They dislike character but do not hate and move on also. They talk in free time

I reckon as long as the actors are doing justice to their roles, we must respect them - irrespective of their character. For instance, if tomorrow they show Virat as the worst scum on the earth, I may not like his character but I will not lose respect for Neil, nor will I stop appreciating his performance.

@bold wha wha what!!!😲

god! please give some sense to these people. they are seriously crazy🤣

now that you have pointed it out, i think hatred for virat has increased after neil and aishwarya's engagement.😆 i remember how people were paranoid that now there will be no sairat🤣

its true that off screen chemistry changes on screen rapport too but if you are professional then nothing of this sort happens. I am thankful to neil and aishwarya that they know where to draw line
